Dude is playing at an all-time level.

It's scary. I'm shaking.

He finally might dethrone LeBron by seasons end.

Even though Durant is a better scorer, Lebron overall is the better/more impactful offensive player.
Comparing them defensively would be a joke.

Lebron is in a league of his own.

Playing at an "all time level" in the preseason?

I mean yea...its KD. We all know what he can do. He's gonna have to pick it up in other ways to dethrone Lebron though.

LeBron is still significantly more impactful than Durant will ever be. When Durant's shot is off, it tends to be a domino effect for his game. LeBron's jumper is usually off, and he completely dominates regardless.

Having said that, Durant is about to have an incredible season I'm sure. You can't help off of Curry or Klay and Draymond is the best playmaker on the team. He has Iguodala to spell him, for god's sake.

On this team, Durant should be truly unstoppable.

That doesn't mean he's in the same league with LeBron as an all-around player. That kind of individual impact on a game is once-in-a-generation stuff.

Even though lebron is a bitch ring chaser who only plays on historically weak eastern conferences, KD is an even bigger bitch of a ring chaser. I'd rather see the bigger bitch lose.

lebron is the most dominant perimeter player of all time, all things considered (scoring/defense/playmaking/rebounding/intagibles).

durant might have an argument for best perimeter scorer of all time if he plays long enough, though.

Lmao. What constitutes as a "perimeter player" in your eyes? Do tell.

Not possible to surpass Lebron with this team. You have 4 all nba players on the starting lineup (two most recent MVPs at this absolute peak + plus a GOAT level shooter and GOAT level all star role player defensive power forward). Everytime they win it should be expected. 70 plus games should be expected from this team by next year.

If anything, this moves tells me that Durant thinks Lebron is better than him. He gave up trying to be better than just #2

Yup. People are being ridiculous when they pretend like one moment or accomplishment will put so-and-so on LeBron's level as a player. LeBron literally turns water to wine. Jesus w. the rock!

I'm sorry, but Durant had his chance already with a great team from 2011 to 2016.

That's five years of being on a great team with no rings to show for it, and only one Finals appearance. There were many let downs, including last year's fold against the Warriors.

durant still has room to be argued as the GOAT scorer, at least from the perimeter.

everything else is out of reach, as you said.

is this a trick question?

lol

you do know lebron and durant are classified as perimeter players, right?

Durant has been better since 2014 and by the end of the season it will be pretty obvious to everyone but lebronies.

Something doesn't add up here.

he is one of the greatest of all time at his role, and he does that while being a all nba defender and all star.

They have a team that besides Lebron it wouldnt make sense to trade away any of the big 4 for ANY player. There is no shooting guard in the league you trade for Klay

There's a guy named Jordan who was a pretty good perimeter scorer.

Durant will never be as good as Lebron imo. To me he doesn't look like he's got what it takes to lead a team to multiple rings. Don't know why, because he obviously has the skillset, but he's not that kind of player.
