War fans: why did Curry not win the FMVP ???? :confusedshrug:

Iggy played , and if I remember correctly played wonderful defense off the bench as well as scored and rebounded.

Curry's best year obviously under argument, and winning his only ring occurred during the 2014-15 season.

You literally cannot stop talking about Steph even though you don't like him. Do you have a life?

He didn't win it because his teammate, Iggy, completely castrated LeChoke in that Finals.

And had Kyrie not hit the series-clincher in 2016, it would have been Dray hoisting that trophy.

Like when Wilt lost in the '69 Finals and West still hoisted the FMVP trophy

HUGE difference when a Top-15 all-time player hoists a FMVP, and when a role player off the bench hoists a trophy, don't you think?

BTW, I don't believe LeShrinkage's COACH reduced LeCoward's offensive role in the '15 Finals, either. In fact, he encouraged the brick-laying.

Gottta love it...

Chamberlain: "Butch wanted me to play the high post so Elgin could drive to the basket, but they got me for rebounding. Why pull a guy away from the basket when you want him to rebound?"

And here is one of my personal all-time favorites from Van Breda Kolff...

Quote:
Butch Van Breda Kolff: "Not having enough basketballs wasn't the problem at all for us. The trade changed our chemistry. Elgin's favorite move was the drive from the left wing and into the middle. Now, when he did that, he ran into Wilt, and Wilt's man. Wilt took that move away from Elgin. Imhoff loved to pick-and-roll with Elgin, but that wasn't something Wilt did very well. So we were able to throw the ball down low to Wilt and he'd score, but it was an awful offense to watch. When the ball stops moving, then guys don't rebound or play defense as well as they normally would."

Can you imagine Phil going to a PRIME Shaq, and asking him to play the HIGH POST?

That is all you need to know about why the Lakers lost the '69 Finals (and BVK quit immediately afterwards, knowing that he was about to be fired.)

Times a player had atleast 28 points on 56% shooting in a finals game

Mozgov: 1
Curry: 0

Atleast 28 points on 56% shooting in the finals (single game)

Mozgov: 1
Curry: 0

You could add a "0" to LeChoke in that '15 Finals, as well.

This is for career.

In which that case, Lebron has 3.

So following the above posts it would seem that Curry's teammate Iggy out played him.

does Curry play with the intensity at the finals as he does on meaningless regular season games ??? :confusedshrug:

Who will be his savior this year in the finals ??? Durant :confusedshrug:
