Everyone heading towards the top of the page makes a driver error. Is it any wonder that almost every area with a large Mexican population has a 50% hit and run rate versus the 10% national average (like LA)

I would have to disagree, although I can see Native Americans being up there because of their fondness for drinking and driving. As a professional commercial driver who has trained many other truck drivers this is how I would rate the drivers:

Driving ability on the road:

1. Whites
2. Latinos, American born
3. Blacks
4. East Asian(almost all foreign born)
5. Latinos, foreign
6. Indian/Middle Eastern (almost all foreign born)
