Yes, big Roy has faded into obscurity of late. Let me update you. He was signed by the Hornets over the summer to be their backup center. Now not many here are familiar with the Hornets under coach Clifford, but he has shown a knack for rejuvenating player's careers (see Al Jefferson, Marvin Williams, Jeremy Lin, etc.). Hibbert is now under the tutelage of fellow Hoya Patrick Ewing here in Charlotte and their work over the summer has given fans a reason to be optimistic. Last night on the road against the Bucks Big Roy had some nice stats:
31 minutes
15 points on 68% shooting
3 of 3 from the line
9 rebounds
4 assists
5 blocks

As soon as players get away from Kobe they get better. Pau, Jeremy Lin, and now Hibbert... MJ knows to get those castaways that once played with KOBE and his GUNSHOOTING WAYS.... Lakers going to win more games without him as well...

9 rebounds? Is that career high or something.

Lebron is a bigger cancer, good thing is the league saved his career by allowing HGH and stiff arm. Lebron is not detrimental to his team, but the whole league, which is held hostage by Bran.

Trust me. You'll hate the guy soon enough. The guy sucks. Watching him with the Lakers was a horrifying experience.

Oh that fear is there, but the Lakers haven't been kind to centers since Shaq. Plus everyone is optimistic at the beginning of the season. :D

Bucks blocking out on the blocks are horrible.

You mean Jeremy Lin got better by getting away from Byron Scott. Kobe only played several games that year. Same with everyone else.

Another product of the leaving Kobe effect.

Yeah I don't know what the front office sees in Lamb other than he is Kemba's buddy from his Uconn days.

Too bad I sat him out on my Fantasy bench the first game...
