Hot-handed start for this season's eventual MVP and who I'm predictive will become the next unanimous BITW the soonest. :applause:

The rest of the Spurs' offense is stagnant, but those stretches are inevitable with most teams and thus superstars are oftentimes needed to step up and compensate for the rest of the team's collective deficiencies on that end; that's what we're seeing with The Claw so far.

They can't keep that up the whole game and they are careless with the ball. We got this.

You're correct. TP has been trash for a while now. Can't shoot/can't pass. No positive impact in any way shape or form. Similar to post-Achilles Kobe, he's an overpaid cancer that's living on his past reputation.

Kawhi is legit but the rest of the Spurs starters are trash. They looked terrible against GSW too. It was Kawhi, LMA + the bench that beat them on opening night.

Gasol is washed up and cant defend. Parker is a cancer and one of the worst players in the nba. Kyle Anderson has no athleticism and can't do anything at an nba level. He looks D-League on most nights. Aldridge is soft and only plays well when it's convenient for him. Even then, he's still the only decent help Leonard has on the starting unit. Can't wait until Danny Green comes back.

Our starters have been pretty underwhelming tonight and against the Warriors outside of Leonard/Aldridge. Aldridge hasn't even been great tonight either. It's pretty much the Kawhi Leonard show. He's going to have to do everything on a nightly basis on both ends this season. Parker and Pau are done + aren't great defenders. I'm really liking what I'm seeing from Dedmon and Simmons so far, though. I expect lots of minutes for them.

PARKER should get traded but Spurs won't do it. he just hurts the team since 2015.

pop's biggest flaw is loyalty to his vets. parker's contract should never have been extended in 2014 when he wasnt even that good that year.

spurs should have been developing another pg years ago. guess they assumed tp would age like fine wine like duncan and ginobili did. faulty thinking on their part. those two have great work ethic + high bball iq, both traits which tony lacks.

duncan and manu had good longevity so i had no issues with them. you could tell parker would have poor longevity back in 2005. his entire game relied on his speed. unlike duncan and manu who were both skilled and smart players.

First time in Kawhi Leonard's career wherein he's strung together consecutive 30-point games. Now that he's the clear-cut leader of the team and has broadened latitude for shot-taking, he's no longer holding back.

He may not be established as the putative BITW anytime soon, but he's still coming and will certainly play like it down the lines.
