Not saying that this isnt impressive, but they were literally all defensive boards.

AD had 6 OReb and 11 DReb. I'm pretty sure that is universally better than 17 D boards.

This is still incredibly important for Warriors though. The Cs are all a bunch of betas on the team now :facepalm none of them can get rebounds or protect the rim. It will basically be Durant, Green and then Zaza/Curry for rebounds. Maybe Looney might be a surprise, the kid got 4 in 7 mins and unlike West and Zaza, wasn't a punk b**** on the defensive end when it came to rim protection. :applause:

The reason Durant gets no DREB is because he wants to score. I kind of wished he was more about the team.. since it would mean he likely is in less scoring positions and will average 2-4 points less but will get more OREB out of it instead. But considering Barnes averaged 4.5RPG over the 4 years for the Warriors, this is an incredible improvement. By the looks of things, Durant will average more than twice as many rebounds as Barnes which will be crucial.

Durant's always been an extremely weak offensive rebounder which is why, in my opinion, he's a bit overrated as a rebounder period. His rebounding numbers have always been padded by a lot of uncontested defensive rebounds with very few offensive rebounds sprinkled in.
