They struggled with the Suns and Philly --2 of bottom 3 teams in the league who got destroyed at home by the Kings and Hawks.

And the Warriors lost to the Lakers last season, who lost to the Sixers, so no way the Warriors could make the playoffs, right?
I Disagree. OKC still got the Ws. Oladipo and the rest will learn to coexist with Westbrook. Anything can happen in the NBA, and it's too early to tell what the majority of the teams will look like when they hit form. They'll finish 7th or 8th.

Disagree but it's no a guarantee. My playoff teams were Warriors, Spurs, Clippers, Rockets, Jazz, Blazers, Thunder, Grizzlies. Still teams like the Mavs who always find a way to be competitive and the Kings who still have Cousins and a good coach in Joerger could sneak in.

After the top 4 teams, the west really does start to get pitiful. They'll easily get in once they start to gel.

If they make it, is Westbrook a lock for MVP?

Pretty sure it's not lol worthy to think any team is better than philly after their last 3 seasons.

Last 3 years sure, this year, no.
They have 2 prospects that are far more valuable than any Nugget, Laker, or Net.. Maybe 3 if depending on how you feel about Okafor.

That's not what the post said.
I thought you were talking about this year. Not 2020

They are favored by 8. A blowout isn't that much of a stretch

I will be hugely disappointed in Westbrook if he couldn't get the Thunder at least into the Playoffs.
He knows the world is watching how his team performs after KD's departure, if he leads and plays the right way there is no doubt he has enough talent on his team. The only reason they are going to miss it barring injury is if he plays out of control and plays for his own stats trying to prove himself to the world.

Where?
You realize they have almost no offensive talent outside of maybe Oladipo... who is just clumsy and inefficient anyway, and can't shoot worth shit. Meanwhile they have Kyle Singler and a rookie getting significant minutes. KYLE SINGLER. They have Roberson who is the undisputed WORST offensive SG in the league. Kanter doesn't even earn enough minutes because he can't play defense, and Adams is probably the most overrated player in the league. (he's a ****ing stiff)
So no... outside of WB there is NO talent... let alone "no doubt enough"
Watch the games for once homo, OKC is ****ing trash and it's the main reason KD left

I completely agree. Westbrook was pretty much 100% responsible for the Thunder's two wins so far. Adams and Kanter are far more useless than I ever imagined, and Victor Oladipo is probably no better than a decent third best player on a middling first-round and out playoff squad. Great athlete, but no fluidity or skills to speak of. KD was right to leave, though I still hate that he went to GSW.
With all of that said, the West isn't what it once was, and if Westbrook can keep up his pace and stay healthy, I think the thunder will make the playoffs. Very, very few players can pretty much assure any team a playoff appearance, and Westbrook is one of them.

If he doesn't burn out. I don't see how he can keep up this pace for 82 games.
