Isaiah had more love for the game his whole life as you can see in his documentary

Iverson was more into football and went to prison for a stretch

Allen Iverson.

Iverson was relentless and gave it all he had when he was on the court, but didn't take care of his body properly and had questionable work ethic (practice?).

So how do you define "heart"?

Depends on your definition of heart.
AI gave it his all on the court every single game.
But IT seemed to have more passion (determination, sacrificing for his team, work ethic).

Both are probably the best at playing through injuries.

How do you even define "heart"? This is one of the most ridiculous questions you can ask as there's no real way to judge whether this guy has more than that guy when it comes to "heart".

Just another form of "kill instinct" I guess.

For players under 6'3, Zeke and AI are the top two of all time peak wise! In terms of heart, THEY ARE EVEN!!! AI at the SG was like ISIAH UNLEASHED!! The key difference was Zeke was a pass first floor general who could ALSO dominate a game scoring. While AI was score first and moved to the SG early in his career and wreaked havoc!

They say AI named one of his kids after Zeke! The OBVIOUS reason is because Zeke was the RARE SMALL GUARD who could literally dominate a game night in and night out! The ironic thing is that in today's game, AI would have stayed at the PG. And LITERALLY dominate the game EVEN MORE than he did in his era!

You can't really tell until you see them go head to head. It's close.

Cant answer that. Zero quit in either of them. Teammates adored them both(with a couple exceptions for each). Guys would fight for them. You cant really measure such a thing. Nobody wanted it more than either of them.

WB has more than both combined.

AI has no heart. He's a degenerate loser.

I am going to base this on MVP votes as well as team surrounding both players and how far they got.
Zeke , had a much more talented team surrounding him , and landed w/2 rings.

Iverson had really no 2nd options , had a defensive team surround him , and got to the finals on an MVP year.
More heart = Iverson..... he wore it on his sleeve.

zeke hated losing more than anyone. the ghetto anger, the winning is everything mentality, the fk sportsmanship attitude, the do whatever it takes approach...

is that heart??? not today, but maybe in the 80s.

Isiah.

Just because AI ran around acting like a child and displayed a lot of emotion doesn't mean he had more heart.

This is the guy that needed a team built around him. Then people come and say "Oh, Isiah had more talent." I'm pretty sure Philly could have had more talent, but they needed a team that would let AI do what he wanted to do. He wouldn't listen to Larry Brown for most of their tenure together, and finally realized at the end that listening to your coach might help you out.

Isiah allowed himself to be taught. He gave up part of his game to benefit others. He LED a group of players, not played with them, but LED them.

Isiah played through a sprained ankle and almost won a championship through it. Without one stupid error in his career and another couple of botched calls my refs and we could be looking at a 4-peat champion.

AI has more heart? Bitch please. If Isiah went around yelling like AI did, you'd say Isiah had 5x the heart AI did.

Not even ****ing comparable, these two. Tier 1 vs Tier 2.

...you all realize he ran Jerry Stackhouse and Larry Hughes out of Philly so he could chuck up 30 shots a game, right? You guys always have this sob story about how he had no other scorers, but he's the one who ran them off the team.
