That star studded 2021 HOF class has just got better. Kobe, Duncan, KG and now Ray Ray.

Congrats Ray Allen on retirement.

So how does this work?

He hasn't played since 2014. So is he eligible for the HoF in 2020.
Is he apart of the Kobe/Duncan/Garnett trio who retired recently or since he officially retired this season he can't go ins until a year after those guys.

How it works is, a guy can go in 5 years after he last played. So, Allen can go in 2019. It used to be 6 but they recently changed it.

But he hadn't retired until today.

He hasn't played though. That is what they go by. AI officially announced his retirement in late 2013, but he hadn't played pro since 2011. 5 years later, is 2016 and he went in.

he was in shape and waiting for calls, but they never called

He was old and not worth what he was asking for at that stage in his career. He wanted paid and he wanted pt. James Jones was essentially cheaper and did the same job we needed him to.im talking 2014 when LeBron first came back.

James Jones is a joke and a worse defensive player in his prime to Ray right now.

Ray experienced more than a few of Kobe's dirty "accidental" elbows to the face.

Lol, anything just to talk shit about Kobe.

Yet we Lakers fans are the worst....smh, yall trash.

Ray ray left too early imo, he should of stayed and played the last 2 seasons instead of "sitting out". Great career, apart of the awesome Boston Celtics that dueled with my Lakers in the late 00's. If it wasn't for him, Lebron would have 1 less title...and that's not talking shit, that's facts. Ray Allen was instrumental in that championship run.

:applause: :applause: :applause: to the 2nd best 3pt shooter of all time.

he literally saved Lebrons career. Lebron would have dropped off harder than ronda rousey if he didn't get that title.
