With so many players looking terrific this season, there's going to be snubs.

Are we going to see a newcomer being snubbed of his first berth?
(Hayward/Walker/Wiggins?)

or perhaps a veteran who switched situations see a dip?
(D.Wade, Aldridge, One of the GSW Big 4?)

Who you guys got as THE snub of this year?
Whose going to be left out?

I'ma say it's going to be a big man in the East.
Horford imo. If the Hawks do well, Howard may regain all-star status.
Drummond is a lock if he keeps things up, and you've got a bunch of really good forwards in Lebron James, Paul George, Butler (He's SF this season right?), Carmelo Anthony taking spots, not to mention Hassan Whiteside likely having a run at one of the remaining F/C Spots. So I think Horford will be snubbed despite putting great stats on a winner. (Boston.)

And out west obviously a Guard, considering how stacked they are.
Westbrook, Curry, Harden, CP3, Lillard, Klay Thompson etc..
Who do you leave out?

jonas valanciunas, IMO on his way to becoming the best center in the L.

I think this is a transition year where we see more young all-stars and some of the usual ones are snubbed. For example, Wiggy, KAT, LaVine, Beal, Parker, Giannis, JoVal, McCollum, Bledsoe could all be all stars, while players like Melo, Love, Howard, Millsap, Pau, Marc could all get snubbed. It usually depends on who the fans vote in the starting spots. I predict West starters to be Curry, Westbrook, Durant, Leonard, Davis (Because it's in NOLA) While the East goes
Irving, Wall, Bran, George, Melo. So who knows, we'll see how it goes.

Embiid could be an all-star this year, just feel like basically everyone wants him to do well, all eyes are on him and he's actually delivering.

he'll probably get injured at the event.

Damian Lillard....again.

Chris Paul as well.

Damian Lillard....again.

all Lillard has done since being snubbed is complain about being snubbed, there is no way he misses out this year unless he's terrible (and he won't be because he's a phenomenal player) because he's bitched his way into an automatic spot.

I think Lillard makes it in the ASG w/ Kobe's spot from last season.

I do think Klay might be snubbed for Giannis or Wiggins.

LMA or Green might also be booted for BG.

CP3 would never be left off the all star team...while some fans may be morons, Chris Paul is universally respected around the league for his excellence. He'd have to fall off a cliff for the coaches not to put him on the team.

As far as Lillard goes, I'd leave him off again for the simple fact that he was such a whiney bitch when he didn't make it this past season... that shit was embarrassing. The all-star game doesn't mean shit anyway...it's the all nba teams which are the true accolade.

Well, Klay could be snubbed for Wiggs. But Giannis is in the East.
And about Green, Yeah I don't see him making the team under any circumstances now that Blake Griffin is in the mix, along with AD, KD, Kawahi, KAT and others.

Giannis is in the other conference. And guys avg 16.8ppg on .473 TS% don't get snubbed. They just aren't good enough to be on the team.

just in terms of gordon hayward, dude should get healthy and play his first game of the season before we talk about being snubbed

Idk about no chance, If the Warriors have a phenomenal record the NBA will find a way to include Dray because he's a huge part of the big 4.

Leave Klay off. Lillard has to make it.

Oops you're right about Giannis.

Klay though won't average that for the season.

To be fair, the way he is playing he will be on the team no matter what he has said. Right now he is averaging 34/6/4.5 on 52% shooting.

Yeah, I don't see Klay making it this year.

I think neither Klay or Dray are going to make it this year unless the Warriors, like someone here said, have a record that justifies it.

The League usually rewards winning in all star berths. (Hawks, Lakers, GSW) even if the stats don't quite add up.

With last year's Cavs being the lone example of a team with the best record in the conference and just one All-Star. I realize Kyrie was still recovering from the knee, but if you're not going to reserve a spot for him (which does happen all the time to injured players), Love should have made it. The Hawks had four All-Stars the year before and the Cavs had very close to the same record and had just one.

This year, Kyrie and Love should both make it along with LeBron.

Agreed. Kyrie will get it by starters vote. This Lowry debacle needs to end.

Cousins may get snubbed tho.

True.
But this is just speculation and discussion.
No one's putting their money on anything.
