Flash led the heat to a championship with less help than ALL OF THEM.

Congratulations!

He's still nowhere near as good as the guys you mentioned though. Except for Curry.

Nah he still had a Shaq, Gary Peyton, Walker, Jason Williams, Zo etc. That's enough of a supporting cast.

2006 vs. 2013 Heat in terms of supporting cast is at least debatable, but I agree for the most part.

And overall I would probably take 2006 Shaq over 2013 Wade since his knees had driven him to frustrating inconsistency, but it's hard to look past Wade outscoring Shaq by like 20 points in those finals. Wade: top 25 all-time with an even better peak than that.

Well stated :applause: Wade's peak was short lived, but it was as good as any perimeter player outside of Jordan/LeBron/Bird/Magic

He also faced less competition than all of them and needed a modern day record breaking number of FTs.

You could say the same thing about Dirk and vs better competition too.

Smoke117

Dirk had the advantage of playing against a mental midget like Lebron, though. The same mental midget who cost Wade a 4th championship and 2nd FMVP.

dude had Lebron and Shaq...the two greatest physical specimens in basketball history. He was really good in '06 but don't act like he won that ring on his own lol.

Shaq was still putting up 22/11/2.5 in the playoffs vs Detroit.

Odd officiating did pad the performance, but he obliterated Dirk. Just like he did in 2011, before LeBron choked things away with a where's Waldo impression.

LMAO @ OP acting like he's not a MASSIVE Pippen, D-Rob, and Ray Allen stan. Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, and Wade are better than all of those dudes by country miles apart from Robinson possibly being better than Wade.

And then was outscored by that black hole Antoine Walker (who btw averaged more shots than points in the finals...so stop bringing him up like he was any good) in the finals.

What does my being a fan of those guys have to do with anything? I can't be a fan of them because Jordan, Kobe, and Lebron were better? Wtf? And why are you always so obsessed with who I'm a fan of?

I'm also just having some fun with this thread...some of you take shit way too seriously.

As a two way player, Wade was quite clearly better. And based on what each has shown in the playoffs, only a fool would take Curry over prime Wade in a playoff series.

Shaq - was a role player in the finals

Gary Payton - washed up and barely did shit

Antoine Walker - a black hole chucker

Jason Williams - mediocre role player who offered nothing notable

Zo - Defensive monster that season, but only played 11mpg in the playoffs.

After all the many series that were affected by rigging, then the rigging of drafts and donaghy whistleblowing, people are still gullible to believe nba isnt rigged. LOL

But im not surprised its smoke. One of the dumbest posters on here.

Jason Williams - mediocre role player who offered nothing notable

Zo - Defensive monster that season, but only played 11mpg in the playoffs.

- Shaq put up 18 and 10, 2 blocks on 61% FG in the playoffs

and 20 and 9, 2 blocks on 60% FG in the regular season.

Those are prime Pau Gasol numbers except with even crazier efficiency.

- Gary Payton hit the 2nd biggest shot in Miami Heat history when he hit the game-winner in Game 3 of the Finals:

https://youtu.be/YfS8lEzIVSo?t=50

- Alonzo Mourning absolutely dominated/intimidated the Mavericks, and had a legendary 5-block performance in the Game 6 championship clincher. Probably one of the greatest backup centers of all time on a championship team:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9AnTgjW46rM

- Jason Williams played his best and most in control playoff basketball of his career being a great floor general and having moments like these:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=upDxJ1-dv5s

https://youtu.be/6Wx-hctxAhc

- Antoine Walker was a 3-time 20 & 10 All-star still in his prime years (30) who had put up 20 & 10 the season before and sacrificed his stats to fit a role on a championship team.

Not to mention great defensive role players/glue guys like Udonis Haslem and James Posey.

And that's not even getting into one of the shadiest and controversial reffed finals ever with Wade setting FT attempt records. :lol

Sit down and STFU Wade Stans and learn basketball. You guys are really an insecure bunch. You basically latch onto 2 seasons (2006 and 2009) and hypebeast the f*ck out of it to try compare Wade to Top 10 players. It really is hilarious seeing "grown-ass men" go to such lengths to do mental gymnastics on themselves and convince themselves that 2+2 = 5.

:yaohappy:

Then you have the gull to disparage the two biggest reasons Wade even has those 3 rings: LeBron and Shaq.

:lol :facepalm
