Did you blow a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals for the first time in history while having the Unanimous MVP after a 73-9 season?
Oh yeah, you did.

Adam Silver came back to beat the Warriors*
*The Warriors' three best defenders: Draymond Green(team's best defender), Andrew Bogut(team's only rim protector), and Andre Iguodala(prior year's FMVP) were all out of commission due to injury or suspension under dubious circumstances. The team that the Cavaliers & Adam Silver beat in the Finals does not accurately represent the record setting team that won 73 games during the regular season.

So what about the 2015 Cavs?
.
Kyrie was a huge loss for Cleveland in 2015. However Kevin Love missing in 2015 was not as big of a hindrance as some would think.
If you remember, while both teams were at full strength, Cleveland got blown out twice in a row in games 1 and 2. The first turn of the tide was in game 3 where Cleveland secured their first win, without Kevin Love playing a single minute (Game 3 of the 2016 Finals (http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201606080CLE.html))
Kevin Love also facilitated the Cavaliers huge lead in the elimination game 6 when he sat on the bench. Kevin Love went out with 11 minutes left in the first quarter and the Warriors were held to their lowest scoring quarter of the entire playoff (Game 6 of the 2016 Finals (http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/201606160CLE.html))
At the end of the 2016 Finals, Kevin Love averaged only 8 points a game on 47% True Shooting (Statistics of the 2016 Finals (http://www.basketball-reference.com/playoffs/2016-nba-finals-cavaliers-vs-warriors.html)). And these numbers were also boosted due to the fact that Draymond Green and Andrew Bogut were out of commission due to suspension and injury.
Basketball is a game of matchups and Kevin Love has proven himself to not be effective against the matchups that a healthy Golden State team produces.
So due to the ineffectiveness of Kevin Love against Golden State due to matchup problems, Golden State of 2016 was more depleted than the Cleveland team of 2015. (Golden State's best player was compromised. Golden State's best defender missed a crucial close out game. Golden State's rim protector missed 1 and a half games. Golden State's best perimeter defender and previous year's FMVP was extremely disabled for at least one game, more likely two.)

Healthy Curry was putting Kawhi Leonard on skates, after his MCL injury he couldn't even shake Steve Adams and Kevin Love.
Kevin Love being able to defend Curry at the end of game 7 is only a highlight to how hindered Curry was from his knee injury

The MCL is one of four ligaments connecting the femur bone to the tibia at the knee. It helps keep the knee stable as it moves from the outside to the inside.
So the lateral movements are going to put pressure on the ligament.
Athletic trainers refer to what’s called a “valgus” position — that’s when the knee is turned inward toward the center of the body, and the MCL stretches to keep the joint stable.
Most people naturally stand in a slight valgus position, meaning they are putting a little pressure on their MCL without even trying. Playing basketball just adds to that stress, especially during quick lateral movements
“That valgus position occurs pretty often in basketball,” said Meredith Petschauer, an exercise and sports science professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, “because what you have to do in basketball all the time is plant your foot and turn in a different direction.”

Curry had a lack of lateral quickness and ability to change direction because of his MCL injury
Here is a clip of healthy Curry showcasing his excellent lateral quickness and change of direction

These types of plays were routine for Curry before the MCL injury

GSW lost Dray and 2 role players. Cavs lost their 2nd and 3rd best player. Yes, Love doesn't match up well with GS. But let's assume he didn't get injured, but Kyrie did.
Love would assume the role of the 2nd scoring option. He'd probably hover around 15-20 ppg, since he wouldn't have to share with Kyrie. This provides a more reliable offensive source than Dellevadova. It also adds a serious stretch 4 threat, reducing the interior defense LeBron faces when driving.
You're severely underrating Love's game.

He would assume the rule of 2nd scoring option and get torched like theres no tomorrow by the Warriors smallball line up of Curry/Thompson/Iguodala/Barnes/Draymond.
The evidence is there, look at the correlation of Kevin Love not playing and Cleveland's defense making a dramatic turn around. Kevin Love isn't a terrible defender but he matches up very poorly with Golden State's unique small ball that they were using

I'd like to see Draymond try to torch Love. Love can guard Draymond, and get every rebound in the process. If that's the lineup GSW is using, LeBron will drive with ease again and again. The key to Iguodala's defensive success was LeBron being the only viable 1-on-1 threat. That's eliminated because LeBron stretches the floor.

You've successfully made the following point:
Cavs matchup with the Warriors better with Kyrie & LeBron vs. Kyrie, LeBron & Love.
I'm not bothering with that. It's irrefutable.
The point I'm making is that Love guarding Dray isn't too big of a problem for him, and he would easily be able to outrebound him as well.
Love is not a great defender, and he was ineffective because he wasn't producing enough offense. Take Kyrie out, Love gets more touches, and his offensive perks now outweigh his defensive liabilities.

This is wrong, Love can get manhandled by Draymond. Draymond manhandles Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol. Kevin Love defending Draymond on the perimeter is a HUGE mismatch. This is undeniable. I don't know what you are getting at.

The Warriors are extremely stacked so the fact that Lebron beat them down 3-1 puts him top 3 in most peoples eyes

Why are you using Draymond's scoring as a measuring stick of his play? That is his worst area of play. Dray can defend Love, box him out and rebound against him. He can dribble penetrate on him and break down the defense against him. GSW wouldn't rely on Draymond for scoring. He always averages around 10 to 15 points on wide open 3 pointers and garbage buckets around the rim.
