His impact on the team is even more than that. They need him on both sides of the ball. Its weird that he has that silent impact at his young age. AND he plays smart already.

I'm loving the season so far, even though its early we have so many guys performing at such a high level.

Westbrook: 38/11/10
Kawhi: 28/4/4
Demar: 36/5/3
Lillard: 33/6/5
Harden: 32/7/12
AD: 32/12/2

This is excluding guys like LeBron, Irving, Curry, and Durant who are putting up their usual great numbers.

There are also guys like Rondo, Wade, Dwight who looks to be fitting in great with their team. Then you have young players like Embiid, Towns, Wiggins, Giannis, Warren, etc stepping up with TONS of potential.

Holy shit, I haven't been so excited for an NBA season in a long time now. Almost EVERY team is interesting to watch.

Dude... Giannis and Jabari are brighter than anything you have going right now.

The thing I'm impressed about is that they beat the Pacers. Honestly didn't see that coming.

Just a reminder, our 2nd string PG is a 2nd round pick Brogdan, who is 24 years old, and is already compared to A. Miller that played for 18 years as a solid PG.
Our first rounder is a 19 year old.
Giaanis 21
parker 22
Brog 24
henson 24
THor 19

get the idea , its called building a team.... and I still think this year they are in the playoffs , if they play defense. Giving up 100 ppg is not good.

they also beat GSW last year, its hard to deal with there length, man if Giannis can learn to shoot dude would be scary good, guy is already a good passer, and the distance he can travel in 2-3 steps is insane. He did like 3 euro steps where he started the gather at above the free throw line.

He's having a hot stretch. It's only been 5 games in. His numbers will come back down to Earth. I'm confident Kawhi would have been better had he been given free reign like Giannis is. Either way, teams just haven't honed in on him yet. As defenses figure out his weaknesses and exploit them, he will have a Tyreke Evans level fall from grace into being a mediocre role-player in this league.

Giannis is basically Tyreke Evans who is 7 feet tall and has more hops.

He's also a good passer and unselfish like Jason Kidd.

He is unguardable.

Holy shit, I haven't been so excited for an NBA season in a long time now. Almost EVERY team is interesting to watch.

How about Embiid taking the Sixers from virtually unwatchable to one of the most interesting teams in the league to catch on League Pass just to watch "The Process"? To me, that has been the most unusual storyline of the season so far.

I always knew he'd be good if he could get on and stay on the court. I even said he was the best bigman prospect I had seen since Shaq and I stand by it, health not withstanding.

If you asked me at this moment -- if I was guaranteed for both to stay healthy -- I'd take Embiid over KAT right now. That's how much potential this guy has (and I love KAT too).

In short, Embiid looks like a force of nature.

Not to mention the two blocks per game Giant is pulling off as well.

Giants stats at 20yo were about equal to Kawhi's at 22yo - very similar.
