Sure they lost to gsw and blew a 3-1 lead but remember they still beat a 73 win team 3 times!! And they literally came so close in game 6 (if klay gone off it wouldve been lopsided) and game 7 was as well. Its not as if KD gave up he was trying to seal the game but his shots just wouldnt fall.

So why does everyone act like gsw whooped okc badly. It was a hard fought series.

Not a single person believed GSW would come back. And saying or writing it, isn't necessary believing it.

The rest is irrelevant.

Steven Adams was a ****ing beast that series.

Durant didn't have a Kyrie Irving type scorer beside him to take off the pressure... and the lack of spacing did OKC in. Warriors were able to play suffocating defense on Durant and Warriors got every call. They forced OKC's best perimeter defender out of the game in crucial moments which led to a barrage of 3's from Golden State.

Durant was by far the best player in the series and OKC was the better team. Refs AND lack of scoring talent outside Durant was their downfall.

No, he only happened to have a player better than Irving...

:lol

Their downfall was also that Durant shat the bed in the home close out game 6. Westbrook was arguably as good as Durant overall in the series, and Curry buried them in game 7 with 36.

better than kyrie??? idk mane first they are two different type of players. I like westbrook but he can really only kill you one way offensively...that's hyper aggressive beast mode drives to the basket....kyrie is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more complete offensively.....now who would I rather build a team around??? that's a different story but you replace kyrie with westbrook last year and the thunder prolly sweep the warriors.

I think Westbrook was better. He was definitely better during the playoffs however because Durant was terrible vs Dallas even if that doesn't really matter. Westbrook was terrible in game 7 however vs the Warriors

Its like KD and WB both went into panic mode when they had the opportunity to close the games out.
They did have GSW on the ropes but Klay turned into a basketball god and drained everything.
To me, it looked like OKC were the better team but WB and KD turned into inneficient ball hog chuckers. So many possessions where the ball never moved and ended up with a KD/WB contested long two off the dribble.
