Its just two teams at the end of the day GSW and Cavs who are 99% of the likeliness to be in the Finals. They will lose probably 20-25 games this season but there is no doubt they will be in the finals...We all know Curry/Durant/Bron/Kyrie/Love can get foul calls and go to the free throw line at will. They can put any teams best players in foul trouble and just cut you up before the half finishes.
Sure a little gelling here and there, a bit more playing time but both these teams (barring the spurs doing something remarkable) are going to meet up in the finals.
The sad thing is no matter how great the other teams are e.g. lets say Timberwolves in 2 yrs time hits their prime with KAT/Wiggins/Lavine...its still no match for a team with 2 MVPs, 3 All-stars (Iggy, Green, Klay). The NBA is ruined for the next few years because no team can field 5 all-star with multiple mvps on the same team.
P.S Iggy is arguably their 3rd best player. NBA Finals MVP, NBA All-star, Led the 76ers team to defeat Chicago Bulls smash mouth basketball team to a playoff series win, arguably top perimeter defender in the league etc etc.
Its boring because even if other good upcoming teams like Wolves have 3 -all stars, its still not 2MVPS + 3 all-stars is it? Heaps of Loser I mean Laker fans here too..What if Inghram/Rus/Randle are all all-star material next year under Luke? They still don't have close to the talent to challenge GSW.
The same can be said about the Cavs. They have multiple MVP level talent/all-star talent and the best offensive rebounder/swiss army knife player in the league in Tristan Thompson. Even if Demar/Lowry are MVP level players (which they are not by a long shot), they still don't stand a chance in hell. (6 games last year in ECF but everyone could tell Cavs were using Toronto as practice for the finals.)
I just hate what Kevin Durant did, It has ruined the NBA and there really is nothing to enjoy. So what if your team has 3 budding talented players? GSW has 5 all-stars/superstars and 3 of the best shooters in the league on their team.
