Speaking of surprising standouts on that horrible team, how much better would the last three years' Cavs squad be if we would have re-signed Shaun Livingston?

It's easy to forget that his re-emergence as a player didn't start in Golden State. He was damn good off the bench for the Cavs a couple years before he was helping GSW win 50, 60, and 70+ games a year.

He had no desire to re-sign here, unfortunately.

The thing that would be maddening about Jack was that he'd receive a pass wide open for a three, calmly take 2-3 dribbles right into a defender and pull-up for a contested 18-footer. He was the anti-JR Smith.

Speaking of which, Dwight was making an obscene amount of free throws in that series. It was driving me insane. He shot 70+% from the line, if memory serves. Same with Kyrie. His shot has fallen off as the game goes on. A couple games now one he started 3-3 from three then finished 4-6. Next game started off 3-4 ended up 3-8. He's also had really bad third quarters. Not sure why the cavs have problems sustaining leads

There are too reliant on 3 at times. This is what happens. Also, they have no rim protector so their defense is inconsistent.

Luckily they know how to close games and get big leads.

What you see as flaws in the roster and the system, I see as complacency. The Cavs have gone through spells of 'going through the motions' until things tighten up (if they tighten up), at which point they focus back in and close the show.

They are a little too talented for their own good at times. But, they're also 6-0 so no complaints from me.
