View Full Version : Most entertaining team this season - So far?

Well, I've only watched a few full games this season.
But so far,
Timberwolves look great. Yeah we blow our leads at the 3rd, but the offense looks great, the defense is stellar and we've got a bunch of athletic dunkers. Watching Lavine streaks over the floor for a forced layup or a dunk is awesome.
Wiggins is sharp af, and KAT looked unstopbble vs the nuggest (we lost, I know. But how often do you see a sophmore scoring on a double team 4 times in one game?)
But, I must admit,
I've watched two of their games. (GSW/Hawks)
And the lakers are absolutly ****ing fun.
The trailed the Hawks all game, Dwight was messing them up without Mozgov in the paint, drawing foul and what not, but just like a boxer taking the hits, waiting for the right moment, just the best moment to strike - Bam. Lou Williams delivers the knockout in the 4th, after Ingram takes a 3 for the lead, which they never relinquish.
And don't even get me started on that GSW blowout.
So far, Lakers and Wolves are my favorite teams to watch this season. (I'm biased towards the wolves but it's beyond that. They really are fun. )

II agree the Wolves are really fun to watch, but i wouldnt say their defense is stellar and that the offense is looking great, or you wouldnt be 1-3 at the moment. There is many flashes of great offense, which is to be expected considering the talent on the squad, but i feel its still very inconsistent. The defense definetly improved, which is normal considering your new coach, but i wouldnt say stellar. Alot of potencial on both ends of the floor, very impressed by LaVine and Wiggins. Dunn is good, and KAT is KAT

Yeah, consistency is an issue.
But look at the starting 5 D, it was pretty good.
First quarter vs the Nuggets they went 37 to 25.
The defense on the 2nd unit is absolutly atrocious, but it feels like it's not about their talent but the fact that they aren't as good in working together.
Gieng in particular is going to be a great defensive unit soon.

Cavs
Lebron and Kyrie
Dont think it's been particularly close.
Warriors will probably pass them when they go on a record breaking run

What do you think about Rubio starting thought? He is good/solid defensively, and can help the offense for others which is very important for rookie/sophmore players, but i feel like his lack of scoring and shooting is a liability for a team that wants to break out. I like what ive seen from dunn so far, he is a good defender, is scoring on good % and looks like a good distributor. You think he can steal away the starting spot during the season?

I love Rubio.
He's the reason I first started to support this team.
But, and this is a big but,
He can't stay on the floor.
Durability is very, very, very important.
That the Wolves are better -with- Rubio is not even a question.
But his health scares the shit out of me. Look how injuries devestate teams, Pelicans and Memphis last year.
Kriss Dunn, I think he can be -really- good. I love, love, love his defense for a rookie. He stayed in front of Mudiay and Foye for the most part without fouling, had 3 steals and I think that if he and Gieng finish the game on the court the Wolves win. (Tayus and Bjelicia were instead.)
But the Ricky Rubio question is a tough one.
But honestly? I think his health would be the determaining factor.

Cavs... ball movement looks like 2015-2016 Warriors + Kyrie
Warriors... KD has been balling and they're a must watch team still
Lakers... young blood getting proper run with a great coach and no more Kobe bricks

Probably the Cavs, they look like the best team in the league right now, clicking on all cylinders.
Spurs have been entertaining to me personally, but I doubt that's a popular pick.

Portland has been fun to watch, Dame is Dame, and I've liked the play of Harkless.
Half of the Clippers (D) has been entertaining as well.
Suns have been boring as all heck though
Orlando Magic

Russell Westbrook has been the most entertaining team thus far.

Basically this. Cavs definitely the most attractive team so far. They look to have the same swagger Warriors had last season post ship.

How about we give each other the proper benefit of doubt lol?
Good luck with your team, btw. Wishing the best for Bender. (He played in Israel.)
Also, if you -really- want to question me, I guess there's a thread with me showing a photo of my Israeli Navy medal and diploma.
Have a nice day mate.

Hard to pick. Celtics cavs wolves trailblazers Lakers and many other teams seem to be playing better.
There are more higher power offenses this year. Exciting times

Northwest division overall is going to be fun to watch this year. Could see all five teams being separated by about five games at the end of the season.
Lakers predictably have been much more fun to watch, and Russell looks great. They're not far off.
Milwaukee also a lot of fun.
Thank goodness the NBA is back and looking better than it has in recent memory because the NFL has been boring as hell this year.

Rockets I've got to say.

The cavs.
Highest scoring team in the league. Lebron is morphing into his final form of teacher/sensei. Kyrie and love are elevating to their prime. Even Tristan Thompson is showing flashes .
Shooters everywhere. This cavs team with Channing Frye and 25 ppg Kyrie is nearly unstoppable. It's riding the momentum of winning ten straight in the playoffs and then the championship.

I'd like to say the Wolves but they have been more frustrating than exciting.

Enlighten me, I'm curious.
Not disregarding it, just wondering what you like about them.
Rockets and Bulls are dope, no doubt.

He doesn't act like an alt, bigkat is a respectful poster and knows his shit.
For me, I have to say Lakers, although the Bulls really have my attention as well, playing good basketball.
Those two teams + Okc and Warriors are games I try to catch, Lakers are must watch. EVERY GAME, **** a friday night. :lol

Thanks mate.
Anyway, yup good picks overall. Warriors and OKC were a given, but Lakers are a real pleasant surprise.
Along with some other unexpected teams like the bulls/hawks.
On another note, Detroit without Reggie jackson isn't half as bad as we thought they'd be.
