Still missing pieces, not saying they are a title team. People acted like the Thunder would collapse without Durant.

Give them Rudy Gay and they're back to contenders.

Warriors were better without KD, Thunder are better without KD.

Now we know where the problem lies.

Hard to judge them at this point. Home heavy schedule mostly against teams expected to be fringe playoff teams at best (and bottom of the league at worst). The Clippers win was a good win but the rest of the games they have won should have been expected wins, TBH.

Can't really judge right now. Give them about another 20 days.

Haters have no excuses. During the preseason they were struggling, losing against euro teams. People were already jumping to conclusion about how they will suck this year without Durant. Eat a dick haters, 6-1

Durant is a cancer

OKC without durant = better

Durant goes to warriors = warriors worse.

whats the factor? Durant makes both teams worse and/or russell is better than durant.

another point

Defence.

OKC defense without durant = better
Warriors defense with durant = worse.

They're better against mediocre teams, because that's where Westbrook thrives. They will struggle MIGHTILY against the elite teams though unfortunately.

Is Durant a cancer? Well, for opposing teams he is. He's about as unrelenting and devastating to opponents as cancer is to the human body. So in a way, he is a cancer.

Billy Donovan is a goat coach whose run in the playoffs last year was legendary. OKC is going to be fun to watch again in the postseason especially with BIG DICK Adams on the floor.

Durant on the other hand is a Harden-esque cancer. Dude will never win shit.

isn't the roster different from last years though?

1. Its the start of the season. Everyone is in warm up mode and westbrook is treating it like its the finals

2.how did durant win mvp in 2014?? Oh yeah when westbrook was out he carried the hell out of his team.

3.what happened to the thunder when durant had that injury?

Durant is not a cancer.
Give OKC and Westbrook respect and admire their response after losing a Top-3 player.

OKC's 6-1 record is inflated by a soft schedule. Five of their seven games have been against the Sixers, Suns, Lakers, Timberwolves, and Heat; all are bad to mediocre teams. They did beat the Clippers on the road, so one of their six wins was signature win.

However, this team is very scrappy and plays hard-nosed, tough defense. They have two elite defenders in the starting lineup in Roberson and Adams; Sabonis, for a rookie, is already a solid positional and help defender; Oladipo is a good defender; and Westbrook is playing the best, most disciplined defense of his career. Offensively, the ball is moving better than it ever has. There's a flow to the offense that's never been there. They're stil limited offensively because of the lack of shooters and dynamic scorers, so the scoring numbers aren't overly impressive, but the ball movement and offensive flow is still good.

This is still probably only about a 40-45 win team that'l finish somewhere in the 5-8 range in the West, but they've been a blast to watch so far.
