Some of you might argue over few spots, but it is not missing anyone in the top 25.

You're not a great scorer by topping 20 ppg. There are levels to this. Like there is between 20 ppg to 25 ppg to 30 ppg.

This is all a moot point. MJ won 10 scoring titles in 11 full seasons with the Bulls. Only time he missed out on the title was his rookie season, and even then, he led the league in total points scored. MJ pretty much is above all else as a scorer.

Wilt put up more impressive numbers but in an inflated era. And his scoring dropped off later in his career. No one maintained MJ's level of CONSISTENT DOMINANCE as a scorer than MJ. This is not debatable.

Jordan's paced-adjusted ppg for his career was 26 ppg, so no he wasn't a 'dominant' scorer by any means

why 20 ppg, and why 9 FGs?

When you're incapable of coming up with a strong response, it's easy to label the opposition as a 'troll' :sleeping

why 20 ppg, and why 9 FGs?
At first I tried 10 FGs only, but then decided to make it 9 and add another criteria because I went through the initial list and saw that it would exclude many great scoring seasons. The list, up top, remained relatively the same.

Jordan on a bum knee at 40 years old put up 20 ppg.

Who in this list is not a great scorer? I consider almost all of them elite.

Jordan on a bum knee at 40 years old put up 20 ppg.

On 18.6 shots...there is nothing noteworthy about that. He didn't even have a 50%ts. If scoring 20ppg on a shitty efficiency is impressive at 40...then he was very impressive I suppose.

To even have the skill, consistency, and savvy to due that is impressive. Oh, he also did it for a full 82 games.

Took a bench role to start the season for the betterment of the team too/

20 ppg on 45% from the field. At 40 years old, bum knee, as a guard, in a more difficult / physical defensive climate than today's league is VERY impressive.

Don't be a moron.

That's actually pretty bad for a player with only 13 seasons of wear and tear

Sorry, but when you question MJ's "dominance" as a scorer, you are either a blithering idiot who doesn't know any better or just trolling. Which is it?

Yeah I guess the fact that he upped their wins by 18 in his first year out of retirement and the fact that they dropped off by 12 wins the second he retired is nothing of note. You're right. Dropping 20ppg at 40 in the NBA is nothing.

If you couldn't tell, I was being sarcastic.

List is fine but the criteria you are using to rank them is flawed and very arbitrary.

So by this logic, a 40 year rookie should be able to play with all the speed, athleticism, and agility of a 20 year old because they don't have any wear and tear. Never mind the natural attrition brought on by aging.

Chamberlain has more 70 point games than everyone on your list combined.
