no one could have predicted this. now it's safe to say that he IS playing like the best in the league because he's taking over games

How has he disappeared like clockwork? Yeah his efficiency was low in the playoffs last year but that tends to happen when your team has periods when it struggles on offense and forces it through you.

The guy just turned 27 and has consistently improved every year and is coming off a conference finals run and a gold medal. I understand the fact that it's just 8 games into the regular season but even still. A statement like that just shows that you don't know what you're talking about.

It's been fun to watch and one can only hope he can keep it going.


At the same time, the team has other players missing too many shots and I would rather not see DeMar over work himself ala Kyle in 14/15. DeMar probably won't because he's always in top physical shape and has never been questioned for his fitness. Still, would prefer others to help the backcourt out because that's when the Raptors can play at another level.

DeMar's game hasn't changed so much but the difference is just quicker decision making and his confidence is at all-time high. Team USA really did wonders for him. He still needs to play better overall defense at times but that's my only gripe with him at the moment.
