Bron, Leonard, Davis, Harden? KD n Curry would be better, but they put a ceiling on their output

Bron a few years ago would have been the answer, but he's slowed down a bit... no one. Peak Kobe would be the best player in today's league.

Demar is a smarter and more efficient Kobe.
That's why the Demar/MJ comparisons by OP were so spot-on.... MJ and Demar are one in the same... both a tier above baldbe

So a player that missed the playoffs and lost twice in the 1st round in his prime would be the best player in the league?

Meh. Hakeem was getting bounced in the first round in the late '80s. Kareem lost in the first round a few years in his prime. You think Curry and Durant are as good Kareem?
It's a team game. That's why LeBron missed the playoffs in his 2nd year when he was already one of the best players in the game.
I stand by what I said, and I think most NBA players would agree with me - peak Kobe was better than anyone playing right now.

Lol none. Prime Kobe is like what Westbrook is now but better and a much better defender.

I agree with the "none" part, but those two don't play very similar.

Gordon Hayward is currently playing like a top 10 player in the league.
Add him to the list as well.

If you consider 5-6 game sample sizes to be enough prime Kobe had quite a few...
