Double clutched a layup, hurt his back landing down. Non-contact injury.

Tough luck. Looks like another wasted season for the Pels. Hope they can get a quality draft pick with a good looking draft class next year. :(

Guy is such glass. I would NEVER want to build around him for that reason alone.

Not really breaking news at this point. More like a routine breakdown.

Your team would trade their entire roster for him if they could

Not if they're smart they wouldn't. Despite the sick lines, Davis' actual impact is not what people want to believe it is. The Pelicans are going to have one of the worst records in the NBA even if AD somehow plays 82 games and Jrue/Tyreke come back and stay on the court, but the Nets (without anything close to a superstar) will probably win somewhere around 35 games.

So I assume AD isn't actually hurt since no one else said anything about it. Is he running tomorrow vs the Celtics? Speaking of which, when is Horford due back?

AD is the only reason that this team stays competitive..

when opposing team has to 2-3men AD, and rest of pelicans still couldnt get job done, it's just nonsense.

I will do:
(Dlo or Ingram) + (randle or nance) + JC + mozgod for AD+fillers.

Co-sign.

Davis brings a great attitude and defensive impact, so he's still an elite player. But his 35/13 is not like a Duncan 35/13. It's not even like a Duncan 25/13. He gets putbacks and lobs that inflate his numbers a la Marion, and most of his "tough" points are scored the way Tony Parker scores.

This. It's pretty sad to be honest, I feel bad for the guy... wasting all of his potential on that disgrace of a team
