Kind of underwhelming to be honest. Monologue, Election Day skit, and walking dead skit was good. All the other skits weren't that funny. I'd blame it more on SNL though.

Yea you could tell. The bar scene skit, the bad skit skit, and the breastfeeding were incredibly corny and I highly doubt he had much to do with them.

I don't think this show has been consistently funny since the Colin Quinn/Jim Breuer days. Remember when Jimmy Fallon was hilarious on Celebrity Jeopardy and as Nick Burns "your company's computer guy". After he and Tina Fey began doing Weekend Update the show started getting a little pussified for my taste and I remember actually switching over to Mad TV back in the day.

The main culprits for SNL's ruin are Tina Fey and Seth Meyers who as head writers made soft, ******y writing the norm rather than the exception.

Lorne Michaels is also to blame for empowering these dipshits.
