Lebron had the highest scoring teammate and got to stand in the corner watching while he hit the game winning shot. :biggums:

A guy who averaged 10 points a game is a 'Superstar' now?

Absolutely. He was a defensive superstar, one of the best of all-time.

He wasn't the typical superstar, someone who scores 30 points, but I think he had superstar impact.

Well, yes, of course my friend.

But does that make Ron Artest a Superstar?
Ben Wallace?
Rudy Gobert?

Star, sure.
But Superstar of Dirk, Lebron and Duncan's caliber?

That's a very gray area then because it makes it seem like you're prioritizing offense over defense. Ben Wallace's defensive impact was way bigger than Rudy Gobert. I don't feel like putting all the advanced numbers and stuff but the mid 00's Ben Wallace had one of the most polarizing impacts in NBA history.

All that is a given.

BUT,

Dirk, Duncan, Lebron.
Dirk, Duncan, Lebron.

He does not belong in that same breath, I'm sorry, you're not going to sell me on this.

Lebron hit the ground running joining the Cavs in 03 who had all-star Z playing for them. It's no surprise that in 2016 it required kryie to score 41 points on 71% shooting to ensure that they won the series.

Lol? He was on a higher All-NBA team than Dirk, and won an NBA championship in the 2003-2004 season. The fact of the matter is he had a bigger impact on the court than Dirk did. Basketball isn't just offense you're too caught up in scoring points.

Duncan and Lebron are far from beign 'all about scoring' points.
But any way, I'll ask you this then.

Where do you rank Ben Wallace, Lebron James, Dirk and Timmy all time?

A) Im talking about Ben Wallace and Dirk specifically

B) We're talking about Ben Wallace being a superstar in the season his team won the championship, the 2003-2004 season, all time rankings mean nothing in a specific season.

C) Ben Wallace was better than Dirk in 2003-2004 who you claim was a superstar, so what does that make Ben Wallace?

A. Fair enough, I'll stop mentioning Tim and Lebron.
B. I need to watch more of him.
C. I'll get back to you on this after doing B.

Looking forward to seeing if I agree with you after that.
Any games you recommend, other than the obvious Finals and maybe ECF?

I appreciate that.
They might be hard to find but I would watch
Pistons vs Knicks from that season in November
Pistons vs Lakers from that season in November
Pistons vs. Pacers from that season in April

If Ben Wallace is considered a superstar than so is Rodman.
