It wasn't stupid by the way. A lot of teams make that exact same pick. Marcus Smart was playing within the USA Basketball team's circle before he even left college. People thought he would be very good in the NBA. Obviously, including Mike Krzyzewski. Hindsight is a fantastic thing to have, especially after one of these players has a triple-double.
