There can be. Ride love and Kyrie. Love has been great this year and has had explosive quarters scoring only to not get ma y touches the rest of the game. He can get guys in foul trouble, the team closer to the bonus and open up the floor. Frye , jr and shumpert is good production. It doesn't have to be Kyrie for 50 if the players execute.

This game will determine what Kyrie is capable off.

Is he special, or just a lottery-bound player blessed to play with LeKing ? :confusedshrug:

I've already pointed out earlier that Lebron mostly takes game off on the road and or against quality teams often on the second night of a b2b aka games that the cavs have a much lower chance of winning regardless of whether or not lebron is playing. no surprise lenarrative chose to rest on the road on the second night of a b2b [...] so yeah of course the Cavs record is going to be worse without LeBron than it would be over the course of a long duration of time because of selection bias. LeBron doesn't sit against crap teams. why doesn't he sit against crap teams? well who else is he going to pad his stats against? link (http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=171042541&p=1434686681&viewfull=1#post1434686681)

Actually the Cavs are down two starters (LBJ and JR). This game was going to be tough as it was. Back-to-back on the road after a really nice win at home?

Yeah, probably a loss.

Kyrie is getting into the paint at will. Signs of life.

One thing ... he gets zero calls. If you took defensive 3-second and technical free throws out of Kyrie's statistics, I wonder how many FTs per game he has? 1-2, maximum.

Really like the way the Cavs are battling while being undermanned. If we can stay close for three quarters, we give ourselves a chance of Kyrie completely taking over late. I doubt they'll have the legs to do it, though, coming off the back-to-back.

I'd argue JR is among the best starting SGs in the East, too. Cavs having to go deep into the rotation.

Hey man were all fighting the same side :confusedshrug:

I just not a fedora wearing hipster from Lakewood who was rocking thin fitted Delly jerseys last year thinkin i'm uber cool stanning an unpopular player

Lets just state the facts as they lay, right?

Here's the boldest one: Cavs have only TWO players that have more than 2 points

Kyrie, Love - 17, 14 everyone else TWO, 2 points, 2

That's how atrocious the ball movement is without Lebron. The amount of attention he attracts and spacing created for others.

Gotta get over 2010 man.

Liggins has 4, for the record.

And, that says a lot. When DeAndre Liggins is your 3rd leading scorer, that's a problem. There is a reason LeBron is resting (and JR too, for that matter). Playing road B2Bs are hard. So, they have a short rotation and they're playing on tired legs anyway.

I don't need to explain this to you, though, right? You know all of this. You're just being annoying for the sake of being annoying.

On the positive side: Kyrie isn't looking so bad getting the ball around in the last game and a half, and it looks like he's playing defense. I think that will raise his game-to-game floor quite a bit. Also, Kevin Love has looked like a new man this year, and I love.

1. The Cavs are getting absolutely no calls. Kyrie continues getting zero respect from the officials and there was another phantom call on a missed dunk by the Pacers.

2. This lineup the Cavs have out there to end the 3rd is not good. Felder-McRae-Liggins-Frye-Tristan

Frye is an after-thought when he's not getting the ball from LeBron with those great passes. I bet at least HALF of Frye's made-threes are off LeBron assists. I wouldn't be surprised if it was third-quarters honestly.

He's missed a few wide-open looks that he normally buries though. I agree with your point ... he and LeBron are a perfect fit and they play off each other incredibly well. But, Frye is off tonight. Not exactly a shock after being so huge last night.

Dead legs.

Frye had a wide-open look from three off the behind the back pass from Irving. Flat, miss. The next possession, Irving comes off a screen right into his sweet spot at the top of the key. Flat, miss.

Just don't have a ton left. I don't have any complaints though. This game was closer than I thought it was going to be.

EDIT: Even flat on free throws.

LeBron just fills so many holes with his all around play, but he needs the ball, so his teams always get one-dimensional role players. When he leaves the game, the teams will usually be in somewhat bad shape in some areas. In this case, Cavs' missed Jr's defense, a quality back up PG and Dunleavy's shooting. Watching Liggins and McGrae try to do anything offensively was dreadful, and Iman went back to his poor shooting ways, going 1-6.

Love what I've seen from Love though. So engaged on both ends of the floor and rebounding and trying his best to score. Imagine what will happen if his 3ball starts dropping again (it should). Kyrie was solid tonight and has been solid all year IMO, and I think he'll hit another gear in effiency since he's three ball's been a little off for most of the month. They need to get a backup PG and hope Iman can be a decent shooter this year, though.

Note: Felder had some nice buckets and I could imagine him being a nice 8 points off the bench later this year.
