You can figure it out if you use 3D modeling software and some logic. Similar to this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzLD9nB39t4

at least 43 inches. So basically a full 7 inches above Westbrooks POVERTY 36.5 inch vertical whilst having many pounds and 6 inches on him in height. Not to mention the huge reach advantage he has over him.

This is what it takes if you want to play a physical game in the NBA and succeed. Sad thing is Lebron doesn't even have a purely physical game it is also based on elite vision and passing yet there are 6'3 guards who think they can get away with it lmao

absolutely insane. We all know that if this was kobe or jordan, this board would be salivating right now. Lebron has always teased us with his athleticism but has never fully showcased it to us. I reckon that jump was 46-48" off the ground and this isn't him at full power.

The height of Lebron 6 ft 8.
The height of the rim - 10 ft.
He need 40 inch vertical for head at rim level - and in that video his head is let's say 2-3 inches above - so it is safe to say 42-43 inches.

I still don't understand how someone can be that heavy and get up that high. Other leapers like MJ and Vince were always lean and light.

It's called hitting the genetic lottery. Nothing more, nothing less.

It's not about hitting the lottery that matters. It's what you do with it that counts. What decisions you make. How hard you work. The thing about MJ is that he was not mentally stable and had to win all the time. You combine that mindset with that level of genetic lottery and the result is 6 FMVP on a double 3 peat while never allowing a game 7. He simply decided that there wasn't going to be a game 7 and there wasn't a damn thing that anyone could say or do that would change the outcome of it. Doesn't get any more GOAT than that. I don't know why people have such a hard time accepting the facts.

Lebron is only an elite leaper off ONE LEG.

Off two legs, he's never gotten his head at the rim.

Otoh, Jordan got his head at the rim off one leg and two legs - Jordan is the superior leaper because he was goat off both one and two legs.

I'm guessing he decided to go 1-9 before that. Not because he HAD to.

He is not 2-3 inches above the ring there. :oldlol:

I have no doubt he can jump anywhere from 42-44 inches, but this wasn't one of those cases.

I find his free throw line dunk against the Bucks much more impressive than this one.
