No, I don't remember that. You have it mixed up.


I remember people thinking Philly got the best deal by trading for a then 25 year old Andrew Bynum, who was coming off his best season; first (and only) all star appearance and all NBA 2nd team. Denver rented Iggy for a year and the Lakers thought that Dwight would help Kobe, Pau, and newly recruited Steve Nash win a title.

The Magic at the time looked like they got the short end of the stick, but years gone by and Nikola Vucevic is still on the Magic playing well and Mo Harkless is a starter for Portland. They also sent the draft pick they traded for (Saric) to Philly for their current starting PG, Payton.
