Not a class act by any means.
Especially since Hakeem is the most likeble guy on that Top 10 list. (Maybe Duncan? Magic? Hmh. He's definetly in that discussion.)

Either way, kinda blown out of proportions.

Don`t know if this came from Akeem but it could have :lol

Please take a moment to admire the great LeBron for the special talent he is.
It never gets old looking at the King's history:

1.Only player in nba history to quit because of air conditioner
2.Quit on his team the year after he promises a championship
3.Dunked on by a highschool kid and then confiscate tape
4.Bail on the dunk contest 9 times..and counting..
5.Only able to win a ring with 2 superstars
6.play on same team as his moms boyfriend
7.Average 1.8 pts in the 4th quarter of NBA finals.
8.Lose not 1, not 2, but 3 times in the Finals. 4 now?
9.Host a national televised TV show to leave his team
10.Go 2 for 18 in an NBA playoff game.
11.Get stuffed by a player under 6 feet (Nate Robinson)
12.Flop every single game in the playoffs
13.Choke 4 out of 5 finals games by dropping FG% by 18...Wilt of the modern erna much? :oldlol:
14.0 Rings if not for refs calling early fouls on Durant and Westbrook
it threw them out of rhythm, made them play soft and sit for big parts
of the game which changed the flow and momentum of the finals.
15. bronze 2004 and bronze 2006

LeBron remembers Hakeem's quote about how Jordan was "far superior" to LeBron. He holds a grudge over that. This was just an example of him throwing shade as a passive aggressive mini-revenge.

And, of course, Jordan has to once again be in the center of the pic, despite Kareem being the all-time leading scorer.

This is stupid considering it's top 10 in points

It's not a discussion if it's 100% facts. Otherwise why in the hell.would Dirk, Karl Malone, and Elvis Hayes be in the pic.

In an all time draft

Hakeem > Lebron

In an all time draft

Hakeem > Lebron

Hakeem and Russell have a case for going before Jordan, in some people's opinion.

I'd personally take Jordan.
But I can see their point. GOAT as he may be, There are a few people who come close to what he did on the preimeter. But Hakeem/Russell (Assuming they'll adjust to the modern era accordingly) Could be better building block.

Of course this is only relevent if with your next pick you can get a Top 10 guy to complement them. Or top 15 at worst.
A Jerry West/Kobe/Lebron.

Any other case? Jordan all the way.

But you got my point.

The case of them over Jordan is that generally, bigs are preferred over smalls. Rod Thorn himself admitted that if the Bulls had the #1 pick in '84, they'd also pick Hakeem - although I'm curious who they'd choose if they had #2.
Plus, in picking Russell, you get the ultimate superstar who, not only doesn't care about his stats, but also doesn't ever throw any teammates under the bus and is liked by everyone on the team. He only cared about finding ways to win, which was his goal since Year 1 (even before then, actually) and he was elite at finding them. So, he got the meaning of the game faster than anyone else in history.
