Too little. Like they're afriad to eat in public. Or they don't want to seem "greedy." It's enough food where everyone can eat 3-4 times and still have left overs.

I agree with OP.

I'm that dude at the office that takes two plates to fill their food and will go for thirds once I'm finished. I see other people taking a little slice of bread, some salad, etc. I'm always amazed at what goes through the brain of these numskulls. Everyone afraid to like a barbarian.

****ing eat you *******. It's a once in a year thing.

You're not gonna get fat from eating at a work party.

That sets you up for a bad night since you have no food base in your stomach to drink off of.

What I ate yesterday is not gonna effect what I eat tomorrow.

I never said it would. Part of why Thanksgiving is so great, it that's it's the one day you gorge yourself silly and not think anything about. If you gorge yourself at work the day before, it lessens the excitement of TG dinner.

But I wouldn't expect an undisciplined idiot like you to understand that thought process... you probably gorge yourself everyday while judging people at work for not doing the same. :oldlol: :facepalm

"why ain't people at work eating as much as me?!!!"

Cringe

I guess. I mean, I'm gonna be excited tomorrow too.

Half the fun is seeing how others prepare their meals. I know what to expect tomorrow I've been eating my families food for years. But I've never tasted Mary's cooking ... naw, let me not eat my co-workers food and wait for my aunts Mac n Cheese that I've been having since I was 7. It's time to start venturing out buddy.

Speaking the damn truth.

I think most people are just embarrassed eating at holiday parties. They don't want to look like the uncivilized pig in front of their coworkers. I say **** that. Feast in. Who gives a **** what Bob from Accounting thinks of you. Chances are Bob from accounting is a 40 year old loser who jerks off to shemale porn.

There's only like 2-3 days at your typical office where there's work sponsored lunches/dinners. Take advantage of it. Eat some good food, compliment the people who made it(they'll feel good as well since someone actually ate it), socialize with your coworkers. etc.
