Knicks offense = Give melo or porzingis the ball and get out of the way or Rose goes to the rim with his head down. Occasionally someone will hit a kickout 3. Only with Jennings to do really do anything else. Jennings isn't good but with him it seems they atleast are able to run pick n roll n stuff other than isos. But even when they run motion they just can't seem to find open shots ever.

That's the problem with Rose. Dude is looking out for himself, he wants to take the shot because that's what's gonna get him paid on his next contract. This guy froze out KP and didn't even look in his direction. Yes he made the clutch shot but he is not good for KP's career going forward. Jennings looks to get everyone involved, dude had 11 assists off the bench :eek:

I loved the defense down the stretch against the Blazers stud backcourt though. Usually Lillard is that guy.

Jesus Christ. For Knicks to go far, they need DRose to have a major role in the team, not just Porzingis. Rose is a proven clutch player and taking over in the end is exactly what he should do, especially as his current style is to pick his moments and not attack constantly. The ball should be in his hands in the end of tight games. I've seen all the knicks games so far, he is far from selfish and passes to Porzingis all the time.

and Yes he should have passed in that particular instance but he missed the moment and Lillard shut down the lane. In just the previous possession he had a pnr with Melo on the same side resulting with a drive to the basket, he thought the same thing would happen again. You cant make perfect decisions all the time

This was DRose best game in Knicks uniform so far, he was efficient, played fantastic defense on Lillard, he had elevation on his drives and he hit that clutch midrange shot. Knicks need Rose and Melo firing on all cylinders not just Porzingis.

This was the biggest win of the season by far. No Noah, and showing that we can live with an off-night from Melo. Rose continues to improve, KP with building confidence and our Euro-bench proving their mettle.

NY fought like hell to win this, and are now at .500. Big win.
