sounds like he's fighting hard.
That could be a good thing or a bad thing. Sometimes when a situation is dire, the hospital will allow a patient to go home with hospice care ... just as a way to make the end more comfortable.

I hope that's not what this is. Best wishes to Craig.

yup, absolutely. by "fighting," i meant that he's trying to make the best of his life. it doesn't sound like he's going to beat the disease or live much longer, either way.

i still have to marvel at how terrible hospital food is, nutritionally. i mean you have all these people in critical condition or near-critical condition, fighting for life, and they still bring them the standard rations in most cases. food could easily be a tipping point in many of those cases.

for cancer-fighters like sager, you'd think they'd be bringing them special antioxidant-rich, garlic-heavy, biotic-rich, low-processed, low-sugar meals, but no... not as far as i've seen.
