Evens means for every unit you stake, you win it back. Bet $500, return of $1000 due to winnings + stakes. We use fractional odds in the UK so terminology is different. Evens would be 1/1.

Yeah its close to evens. Obviously I'd never actually get perfect evens for 1:1 in the long run, the book always has juice on the "line", so I'd be laying 1 : 0.95 on average.

There are a lot of ways to express odds. For example in my book, the default is American odds. -110 or +125 for example.

-110 means risk 110 to NET profit 100, returning a total of 210.

+125 means risk 100 to NET 125, returning 225.

Most of my lines are -105, but some utah plays (full game moneyline) was +120 and the second half moneyline was over +200, so I risk 500 to win 1000, which returns 1500 total.

The line refers to the point spread, but it can refer to the odds too. You can say "the line jumped from +2.5 to -1.5" or it can also be used to express odds movement: "the line moved from -110 to -120"

How on earth do you even decide to play online blackjack to the tune of losing $800 a day? More of these places than not have been caught rigging such games. At least with sports they cannot change the outcome. I rather enjoy degenerates outside of my immediate circle. But at least be reasonable with your idiocy.
