Had a go at the Nets for the summer, real tough to do man, but here it is: (https://mikeksmind.wordpress.com/2017/04/09/be-the-gm-brooklyn-nets/)
Trades:
RHJ + #26 + #56 to the Thunder for #21 + #50 + 2 Future 2nds
Justin Hamilton anywhere for a Top-55 2nd
Nicholson + Booker for RoLo + Future 2nd(s)
Draft:
#21: T.J. Leaf from UCLA
#24: Dwayne Bacon from Florida State
#44: Caleb Swannigan from Purdue
#50: Frank Mason from Kansas
Free Agency/Training Camp:
Bazz with a 3-year overpay
Brandon Bass with a modest 1+1
Training camp: Chris Boucher, Bryce Alford, Omer Yurtseven, Alan Anderson, Bobby Brown
Final Roster:
PG: Jeremy Lin | Frank Mason
SG: Caris LeVert | Shabazz Muhammed | Isaiah Whitehead
SF: Dwayne Bacon | Joe Harris | K.J. McDaniels
PF: T.J. Leaf | Caleb Swannigan | Brandon Bass
CE: Brook Lopez | Robin Lopez
Training Camp: Spencer Dinwiddie, Archie Goodwin, Chris
Boucher, Bryce Alford, Omer Yurtseven, Alan Anderson, Bobby Brown
It's a real tough roster to work with man, and I didn't really want to take on bad contracts, though, RoLo isn't a very good one. High character guys in the draft is what I went with, though none are probably home run hitters. I was thinking of going Giles/Hart over Bacon/Swannigan but don't think Giles lasts very long.
Thoughts?
