Who are the most underrated posters? Posters who have good arguments and good knowledge but don't demand attention so never get noticed as much. Posters that most here wouldn't know are good posters.

Overrated: every single poster who loiters in the game threads and basically types the most basic **** ever and repeats it for every new game thread as if they saved it on Word Perfect.

That's why hippos doesn't go to gamethreads.

I think johndeeregreen is pretty underrated. Same with Done_And_Done(seriously underrated). The guys who all make me laugh and don't seem to get any mentions in here. Lebron23 is one, maybe not based on knowledge but his language skills(haaa).

Thanks but I shouldn't be rated at all because I make it pretty clear how I am. If it's college ball or Raptors talk, I'll be serious and am a better poster than 96% of the people here. If it's the rest of the NBA (stupid rehashed topics) or OT topics, I make stupid/funny/confusing posts (however you want to look at it) just for the hell of it.

I guess I can be underrated if someone doesn't realize I do post serious stuff sometimes, but I don't care. I'm comfortable in my tough hippo skin.

I think I'm the only ISH poster to admit to being a bad poster a lot of the time. It takes a lot of stress of your shoulders.

I said id easily take nash because cousy couldnt score well today at which point ppg being higher than nash, claims hed shoot much better today, and so on were made. I said nobody with common sense would take any pointguard without a modern jumper over nash. And nobody would. you score 18-19 on mid 30s shooting on 115-121ppg running teams in the 50s its just foolish to assume you become some good scorer today. Cousy learned to shoot before the modern jumper. Because of it he is not the kind of point who works today. Its pointless to even bring up his ppg compared to nash.

Zo was for 11 of his 13 seasons a solid to good at BEST defender because of award voting. Award voting decides reality and voters nor the system of ranking can be wrong(unless its MVP voting of course...in which case they were wrong since nash won 2).

That Zo **** just isnt something a basketball fan in any way concerned with on the court play could say. Just isnt. Its the kind of thing that makes me proud to be listed among those Glove things dont know the game.

This guy is like a compass that points to falseness instead of north. If ever I agreed with him I might actually change my mind because of it. The odds of me being right would just take a huge hit.

i think that from what i have seen nash is a much more highly skilled basketball player than bob cousy. i think nash > cousy.

i think that from what i have seen nash is a much more highly skilled basketball player than bob cousy. i think nash > cousy.

Well of course Cousy might not be Magic * 10. But Cousy, Magic and Stockton are on a class of their own when it comes to passing. I mean, Cousy really was that good. Most likely better than Nash.

He won 8 assist titles in a row. Lets you know how great of a passer and playmaker he was.

So anyways, I think you get Cousy's impact and passing/playmaking skills. You already know Nash is a horrible defender, so we won't get to far into that....Cousy did put up more points in an era where guards used to score less than guards today, yet Cousy still put more points. But I'll give Nash the overall edge in scoring anyways.


But there is still no denying it isn't close is there? Cousy is arguably the best passer of all-time and is a Top 4 PG of All-Time

I said nobody with common sense would take any pointguard without a modern jumper over nash. And nobody would. you score 18-19 on mid 30s shooting on 115-121ppg running teams in the 50s its just foolish to assume you become some good scorer today. Cousy learned to shoot before the modern jumper. Because of it he is not the kind of point who works today. Its pointless to even bring up his ppg compared to nash.

Well you're the one asking "if he played today". Well in order for him to play today he'd have to be born around 1980. And therefore, those assumptions can be made. And its not "guessing". Do you see anybody with a 60s jump shot? No. So Cousy wouldn't either

I think people lost sight of what the meaning of underrated means. Kblaze underrated? That's like saying TD or Wilt is underrated.

Underrated- SskSpurs, one of the nicest posters around. Rarely ever gets mentioned. Good loyal fan and classy.
BradMiller52, I've been following this guy around for years. He knows his stuff, he just comes on too late.

About Cousy, was he good? Yeah. He was damn good, but Glove is over rated him. Saying that if he was born in the 80s and played today he would average 20+ points, 14 assist, and 4 rebounds a game. Well if he was born in the 80s he wouldn't be Bob Cousy now would he? Also, how can you agree with people that Nash can be a little better and then proceed to say Cooz would post up stats that far exceed Nash?

You're basically aggrandizing a sub-.400 shooter who never topped 10 APG and whose per 40s weren't even really outstanding (except for rebounds for a PG). Granted people didn't really start getting close to 10 APG til the Big O came in, but at the same time great point guards weren't really prevelant until the emergence of Oscar. Who did Cousy really have to deal with? Guy Rodgers? Lenny Wilkens? Didn't come into play until the tailend of Cousy's career. Wilt Chamberlain? If I'm missing someone tell me. About Cousy, was he good? Yeah. He was damn good, but Glove is over rated him. Saying that if he was born in the 80s and played today he would average 20+ points, 14 assist, and 4 rebounds a game. Well if he was born in the 80s he wouldn't be Bob Cousy now would he? Also, how can you agree with people that Nash can be a little better and then proceed to say Cooz would post up stats that far exceed Nash?

You're basically aggrandizing a sub-.400 shooter who never topped 10 APG and whose per 40s weren't even really outstanding (except for rebounds for a PG). Granted people didn't really start getting close to 10 APG til the Big O came in, but at the same time great point guards weren't really prevelant until the emergence of Oscar. Who did Cousy really have to deal with? Guy Rodgers? Lenny Wilkens? Didn't come into play until the tailend of Cousy's career. Wilt Chamberlain? If I'm missing someone tell me. I was "asked" how would Cousy do today. So I wasn't really saying "Cousy today" or anything like that, I was asked. Cousy would still though be around low 40s today too. So 18/13/43% FG vs. 18/12/50%. Close if you ask me.

There is no doubt that Cousy is ahead in "Career or Legacy or All-Time status" but Nash and Cousy are right next to each other when it comes to their peak. And maybe yes Nash does have the edge.

And 10apg? Assists were much more strict back then. Many assists today wouldn't count as assists back then. So Cousy easily would have more than 10apg multiple seasons. He won 8 assist titles in a row.

But anyways, my main argument is that Nash isn't "easily" better than Cousy ever was. That was plain stupid. Don't tell me you agree with that? You'd be the first one to agree...

Haha, you probably don't know that account, either. I was him for a while, and I'm not going to lie, I got this account so I could look cool with a lot of posts. Pretty dumb move on my part. Everyone on ISH that knows me thinks I'm a post-whore or just plain annoying. I've tried to post only when appropriate the past week, I think I might be doing just about ten a day. I like that pace a little better, since it gives me a bit more time for homework/having a life. I am liking my approach from this week a lot better.

And trust me, the posts-per-day stats will definitely go down. I think I'll be posting at the most, maybe ten a day on weekdays and a bit more on weekends. ISH is just a place to have fun and talk bball and other things, not a popularity contest, which I've just realized. No one gives a **** if I have 40 posts a day.

Two guys that are the poster boys for underrated are JalenRawley and JtotheIzzo. Probably the two best posters nobody ever mentions. Both have great posting skills, intellegent wit, and uncredited knowledge.
JalenRawley IMO is the most intellegent mind on this board. That's including kblaze.
JtotheIzzo's wit rivals that of GoBB and TMOGE. Top level. I once saw Izzo flip the script on GoBB even GoBB had to laugh at himself. Something about climbing up to the cheap seats and knocking the P Hat off of GoBB's head.
