Why? They're tanking, no point. Might as well keep him

On the same week that Lauri is expected to play.

Confusing move. Bulls play hard.

You got teams like the suns shutting down players and releasing capable veterans (Canaan)

Like all the others....why? :confusedshrug:

They might not have the tools but at least they are entertaining to watch unlike the Suns

What? As a tanking team he's an excellent coach. His player development has been working wonders for those guys

If only GarPax were fired instead

This is fine. It's mostly a cover our ass move for Garpax.

He is absolutely awful at defense and having Parker and Lavine on the court together was a disaster for him.

If anything, this makes the Bulls tank full bore now. They can say "building for the future" now as Boylen looks silly.

Garpax have no more bullets anymore though, they need to go or nothing will ever really improve.

They've got worse every year since he got there.

You can only use the excuse of player development for so long. 4 years (assuming he had played out this year) and being worse each year has no excuse. Might as well see what an interim coach can provide.

Maybe your right. A G-League team would have a legit shot of making the postseason in the JV league

He was a bad choice but since he's friends with GarPax he got a shot he probably wasn't ready for.

Granted with all the injuries we just aren't gonna go anywhere this year but it wasn't Fred's fault. He did terrible with good players but it seemed like his player development was a strong suit considering the guys we have

GarPax should have been out years ago. That fact that Paxson said that Foreman's job is absolutely safe is the problem, mediocrity has become acceptable. It starts at the very top, the Reinsdorf's are loyal to a fault.

They're not going to be bad enough to get Zion.

this is really a move so the front office may have an opportunity to re-sign their players.

stick with a coach who's already lost his players, you've pretty much wasted away the young assets you stacked and developed.
