What does a misread have to do with knowing basketball or nah?
Like seriously use your brain for a second.
Lonzo got trashed for shooting poorly despite his usual 8 assists 7 rebounds. What should Tatum (apparently a great scorer) get a pass basketball genius?

Let's stop playing dumb for a minute. This is seriously what you expected from Tatum this year? Trolling aside, I really don't see the next Paul Pierce in him, I really don't see a franchise player in him, either.
If you compare to Wiggins vs Tatum's first two years. Wiggins has impressed more so far.

Wiggins was better and that's not a troll. Tatum just fell in a great situation with a great coach. Wiggins had that opportunity only to see it ruined by LeBron, when they traded for Love.
So no sir, you shouldn't be that impress considering there are other players in his class playing at a higher level and more efficient rate.
Also current rookies are playing better basketball than him, it should certainly be alarming to you and Boston fans.
And again like a kid, you take everything out of proportion. And of course you never troll, have never trolled and will never ever troll.

So he is basically a role player? 50% FG wow 3-6 from the field. But there's one thing, he is shooting 39% the last 5 games. Celtics ain't doing better than they were last season. They only lost one guy, Kyrie played the entire regular season.

You call me a loser but my fandom has a better record than yours.
Which is exactly the point I'm trying to make about Kyrie. You are so focused on winning a stupid back and forth that you are failing to see the big picture here.
My argument is simple. Kyrie isn't a superstar. He is a shot maker and a guy you don't want as your lead dog on a championship team.
Tatum is trash compared to what he was advertised to be.
JohnnySic
12-30-2018, 12:09 PM
Tatum is going to be a star. He just isn't going to put up big numbers on this team. Because he wont get a lot of shots. He is averaging only 11 shots per game in his career and has only taken 20+ shots once is his career. So far. He is only 20. The bigger numbers will come later.
He is having a great year, despite a slow start. 16 ppg on good percentages. He will likely average 16-17 ppg on this team, and that's perfectly fine. But he'll have games where he gets less than 10 points. This Celtics team is about playing within the system and that's just how it goes sometimes. On a bad team he'd get 15+ shots and average 20+ ppg easily.
That said -
It doesn't matter how many clickbait threads you create kokoword/airtupac and all your other who knows how many alts.
Its doesn't matter how many times you attack Tatum, Brown, Hayward (which is really scummy btw after that injury he had) every time they have a bad game.
The forum is still dying.
Most of the good posters have been chased away due to years of incessant drivel on the board.
There no fixing that now. All that's left is the trolling and the mods tolerate it because otherwise the board would get no traffic.
So keep posting those clickbait threads, and I'll keep showing up to aware people on what your game is.

12-30-2018, 01:01 PM
He hasn't made a leap from his first to second year. I still think he can become an all star but the more time passes the less I think he'll ever be a superstar player. He's just not an explosive offensive player. Jaylen Brown is a more explosive scorer than him. Jayson is the dependable sedan that will get you back and forth to work but lacks the horsepower to push it to the limit.

I remember Melo's career.
Also, out of 14 games Melo played for Houston, he had 7 in which he played well. Literally one half of them. Time to go back under the rock you crawled from.
In the end, this isn't about Melo, its about the fact that apparently Tatum is not a good player because he shot 39 percent in the last 5 games. Maybe he should be cut from the team too just like Melo, its enough evidence that he sucks right?

It's not a matter of just one bad game. It's how bad his game was exposed. You guys act like he's magically going to come back game 2 and start shooting the lights out. Yes it is or you would've made this thread a while ago instead of waiting until now. It's easy to kick a guy when he's down which is exactly what's going on here. If you were offered Giannis for Siakam, you tell me with a straight face you'd say no.
Knowing what I know about Giannis shortcomings in the playoffs. it will be safer to pick Siakam.
There is a reason why I never really saw them as a threat. Sixers and Bucks were the least of my concerns. Celtics however are a problem for us tbh.

After letting his teammates do the dirty work for him in game 1 which he finished it with a whooping 4 points (2-7 fg). Follows up with an impressive 2-10 fg performance in game 2.
Next Kobe indeed...

I told y'all
This guy is a SPOT-UP SHOOTER
That's his skillset and if the he and the coaches focused on this, he could still be a 1 or 2-time all-star
He should hang out with Reggie Miller this summer and pick up all of Reggie's tricks, instead of Kobe who is out of his lane

What a waste of a 3rd pick. If Fultz wasn't such a head case and Lonzo could actually shoot, Tatum would have the bust label around his head right now. The Celtics could have had Lauri Markkanen, John Collins or Donavan Mitchell :facepalm

Tatum has upped his points rebounds and assists while this is the first year as the focal point on offense. Kobe averaged 25ppg for his career. Tatum is averaging that this season at 22 years old and he’s not projected as a superstar

Because numbers are inflated. Tatum is a 20ppg guy at the same age if he played in the early 2000s.

You’re referencing his second year, wanting him to put a team on his back and win a title. Name someone who did that.
He sent Siakam packing last year.

Tyler Herro had a career night, and Brad Stevens refused to get Kemba off the floor defending much bigger players, resulting in a game 7 loss.
Had little to do with a 22 year old Tatum who was playing at a higher level than most in the playoffs

I think Tatum has flashes of super star and then nights kind of like disappears... Super stars don't do that / but it could be team chemistry or personal matters .... all kinds of shit goes on with players minds, and after all not one person is the same.
I actually think Celtics need to let Walker or Brown go , and build a team with a 5 , going thru Tatum as point forward.

They are simply not "true stars" and that is reflecting on how they have been carrying the Cs this year. 5'8" Isaiah Thomas did better leading this team than this duo.

I know basketball more than you think. There is no defending his performance in this final. I don't give a sh*t if you are a Celtics fan.

Funny you mention Jaylen Brown but somehow forgot how JB destroyed Siakam in a playoff series on both ends of the floor. Those players have a ring because they played with Kawhi Leonard and the Warriors lost two of their three best players to injury. You ignore stiff like that because you are a troll and/or idiot.
