In 2016 game 7 LeBron held Curry and Klay to 17 and 14 points on 6/19 and 6/17 shooting wow.
The two greatest shooters of all time and they combined for 31 points (Bron had 27) and they shot a combined 12 for 36 (33%)
Could any other superstar hold the two best shooters in league history to 31 points combined and 33% shooting?
Wow just imagine it, you total more points, rebounds, assist, steals and blocks then everyone player in the entire series. AND you lock up the 2 best shooters in league history to 31 points combined and 33%

Wow, from video notes: Curry shot 1/12 (8%) and committed 11 turnovers when guarded by LeBron. LeBron's defense was superb in the finals.
Aside from the GOAT King James, could anyone else do this?

Wait what? He held two different players scoring down at the same time? Wasn't his primary assignment Green and Barnes? He wasn't even guarding Curry and Thompson. That was JR Smith and Irving. I'm sure he helped some on those guys, but credit needs to go to the guys who had that defensive assignment. JR Smith especially needs to get his due props. Shumpert had a hand in that too I think.
Be better than this. It's not helpful or necessary.

How was his defense on 2017 OP? Unlike Curry and Klay, I heard he guarded some guy in 2017. Anything under 35PPG 70% TS would be impressive :applause:

A compilation of a bunch of great defense by James. He was awesome on defense that series. Much of that isnt from game seven which this thread is supposedly about. And much of what is in the video confirms what I said, James wasn't the primary defender on Curry or Thompson. Yes he switched onto them at times, but that wasn't his main assignment. Other guys deserve the primary credit for holding Curry and Thompson in check in game seven.

In 2016 game 7 why did Adam Silver make Curry and Klay score only 17 and 14 points on 6/19 and 6/17 shooting wow. NOT FAIR
Curry 6/19 (17 points)
2 assists
Klay 6/17 (14 points)
2 assists
The two greatest shooters of all time and they combined for 31 points (Bron had 27) and they shot a combined 12 for 36 (33%).
DARN YOU ADAM SILVER

Goes to show Kyrie had Steph on lock.
Why did Shawn Marion single handedly hold Lebron to 8 points in the finals?
And why does Lebron always get his ass kicked by me in the finals?

Honestly I can't believe how many people deny this. Kyrie absolutely locked down Steph. Outplayed him on both ends of the court.

Aside from the GOAT King James, could anyone else do this? I'm a LeBron fan man but this doesn't mean much tbh. You do know that when gaurding LeBron in the finals that Steph has shut him down right? There both probably just anomalies or something

I remember Klay/Irving marking each other and Steph/JR marking each other. Both teams wanted their best guard defender on the biggest guard threat.
