View Full Version : Can the Dingo win MVP?

He's averaging 29 ppg on 49% and 45% from 3 on 11 attempts. 66 TS% as a PG :biggums:

His value is also unmatched. We saw what happened to the Warriors when the Dingo went down.

Incredible how under rated Curry is. I would honestly argue he's up there for one of the most under rated in the league.

It's Crazy. You hear Giannis, Harden, Jokic, but not Chef Dingo when he's ballin out his mind.

Did I acknowledge that worthless award at all in what I said?

Good try chump, better luck next time.

Well.... every time the award is brought up about how few Kobe has and how many LeBron has, you cry about how worthless it is.

When it's brought up this time you lick Curry's shit stains, saying how great and underrated he is. Implying that he should be in the running to win it.

MVP is so wide open right now. Giannis, Kawhi, LeBron, Harden, Steph, Embiid, Jokic, hell there might even be more. Any of these guys could win it this year if they go on a hot streak at the right time.

I agree. Harden is making a solid case after slinging together multiple monster games while CP3 is out. LeBron's 1-5 Lakers are making his case stronger, as well. Kawhi is off the list, he joined a 59-win team so unless they can achieve more or around 59 wins (doubtful) he is probably off the list but the rest are definitely in there for the MVP race.

Honestly I don't think so unless they win 65, 66 games. And they won't because the team doesn't care about defense this year.

So unless they got on a 25+ win streak, it should go to someone like Giannis..

He's not a PG. What are his assist numbers?

Who is the PG then? KD?

Curry initiates the offense more often than none, but their team is built differently due to the personnel they have, Durant and Green can also facilitate and the ball moves between everyone.

You think that a PG = dribble the air out of the ball and average 10 ast

This looks fake as ****. No way did Curry average 10.8 ppg in the 4th on that efficiency in the 2015 Finals after the first two games.

Padded stats in Game 3 when it was over.

Ran up the score in Game 5 guarded by Delly who came back from severe dehydration and had to be hospitalized.

What are the stats without those 2 games.

23.8 ppg in RS, 26 ppg Finals

26/5/6 59%TS is good enough for FMVP.

especially when the guy that did win MVP put up 16 ppg.

as long as KD is on the team neither one will ever have a shot at the MVP. KD takes too many votes from him. only way i see curry winning mvp this year if he avg 30pts 50/40/90%. and the warriors go on a tear and have the best record in the league.

2015 Curry
Reg season: 23.8 ppg, 7.7 apg, 4.3 rpg with 44% 3P,
Finals: 26.0 ppg, 6.3 apg, 5.2 rpg with 38% 3P

Supreme player elevation in the Finals :lol

Mind you this was against a Cavs team without Kyrie or Love

COMPARED TO IGGY
2015 Igyy
Reg season: 7.8 ppg, 3.0 apg, 3.3 rpg, with 35% 3P,
Finals: 16.3 ppg, 4.0 apg, 5.8 rpg, with 40% 3P

Yes, Iggy elevated his game from RS to the Finals more than Curry, but it's also because he was a bench/role player in the RS and got elevated to full time starter in the series due to match-ups.

Curry still played at a high level and put up much better #s and came up big in Games 4-6 with the series on the line, you can't deny that. Iggy only won his FMVP because of the whole "Lebron stopper" narrative, but I think it was more about Lebron wearing himself down due to playing a lot of minutes and doing everything.

It was more about the W's game plan to let Lebron wear himself out in the first 3 quarters trying to keep pace with the team, that's literally been their game plan in every Finals but 2016. Let him drive the ball, let him dunk it as much as he wants because he won't be able to keep pace.

The only reason why the Warriors even won was because of Iggy's defense on LeBron. He deserved that FMVP.
