That is the roster that LeGOAT got his career high 61pts on vs the 2014 Charlotte BOBCATS!! That is an absolutely incredible roster if you look at it. They would absolutely wipe the floor against HOF players from the 90s are you kidding me? LOOK AT THOSE NAMES!!

For a majority of the game, 6'10 275lbs LeGOAT was guarded by absolutely BEHEMOTHICAL MONSTERS 6'4 210lbs Gary Neal and 6'5 215lbs Gerald Henderson. How good were those two players in retrospect defensively? They must have been absolute athletic BEASTS since they played in LeGOAT's era and not in the milkmen 90s era.

Does anybody have any further input on this absolutely historic achievement by our LeGOAT?

Jordan dropped 63 against the 86' Celtics in a PLAYOFFS game only two years into his NBA career with Orlando Woolridge as the next best Bulls player.

LeBron dropping 61 on the Bobcats is such a low hanging fruit.

Didn’t MJ beat MKG in practice?

Didn’t MJ do such a good job coaches and players say he could play for them.

Wait are you telling me a 50+ year old MJ regularly schooled the best defender on that entire roster which absolute PEAK LeGOAT got his career high on?

I thought MJ was only good vs 5'4 milkmen?? What's going on here?

Against a top 5 defense that season* Forgot to mention that did you OP?

Furthermore, just for arguments sake let's take a look at a random GOAT scorer and his big shooting games....

Let's go with Kobe Bryant (no agenda, all random)

http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=458480

As you can see my studies show Kobe has only managed to drop 50+ on a TOP 5 defense a total of 2 times, Bron has also done it twice (on less games mind you)

Not too shabby at all

Also I will be giving this thread 1 star, but please feel free to 5 star mine

You can cry all you want, but the only reasons why Brick has ever won a game in the PO's or even made the PO's is because of Shaq, Pau, and the Refs. Without them, the dude would be a choking career loser.

Gasol had THREE total 30+ pt games (0 past the 2nd round) in all of his Playoff runs with the Lakers, even in the one where Kobe didn't play at all he lost by a record margin in a sweep against the Spurs, despite having an all-star teammate. Gasol was 0-16 in the Playoffs without Kobe as he left LA to be a role player on other Playoff teams.

From 2015

MJ was also quoted as saying he could beat all of the Bobcat players.

So he's beat Gerald Wallace, MKG, Henderson, JRich, and a bunch of others as well as giving them the biz during scrimmages.

Pick a season.

And this is an old, out of shape MJ. Drummond was asked this when MJ was 52 years old. You don't think that a 50 year old would be better? :confusedshrug:

kobe was playoff loser after/before - shaq/pau and we talking about peak kobe

Yet Shaq and Gasol were at their best playing next to Kobe :lol

Shaq - 1/2 Finals, role player ring, 0 MVPs despite all the great teams he played on (Orlando, Phoenix, Cavs, Celtics)

Pau - 0 Finals appearances without Kobe, 0-16 in the Playoffs as the man, no role player rings despite joining the Spurs

You see, Kobe's the only constant in all 5 Laker title runs.

LOL Orlando Woolridge was a very solid player in the 80s. He was an efficient SF that scored 18-20PPG. You make it like he was a scrub. He was like a poor mans James Worthy which is still a scoring SF that was pretty athletic.
