Imagine even trying to troll that this team isn't stacked just because of a few fluke unlucky losses.

They just beat a 16-2 at home Dallas team.

BI played like a star tonight. Lakers won by double-digits and Kuzma had an off night.

Ingram is a STAR in the making, Kuzma and Ball will follow. I say the Lakers trade LeHype James for Anthony Davis.

Lakers Starting Five:

Anthony Davis Center
Brandon Ingram Forward
Kyle Kuzma Small Forward
Josh Hart Shooting Guard
Lonza Ball Point Guard

He looked super slithery and skilled on quite a few layups... That hesitation euro step.

Can't believe I'm seeing it but this guy might be a rich mans young pippen.

I disagree. I think offensively he is more like a weaker but longer version of Grant Hill which is not a bad thing. He loves to dominate the ball 65% of his 2pt FG shots are unassisted.
Pippen is a much better defender, I actually think Josh Hart is more Pippen defensively, much more engaged in trying to make it difficult for the player he is guarding to score etc.
Brandon has great length but it's not translating to steals and blocks (both under 1) and his defensive rating is not that good at 107pts/game which lead to him having a a negative net rating.
Take away the last game vs Dallas, he actually shot under 39% from the field, 3 of the last 5 games, failed to hit above 50% except one game the since December 23.

Ingram just exceeded pippen's high in year 3

And he's at 20/6/4 without lebron, which matches pippen's raw numbers - the advanced stats like win share and drtg will come with winning - those stats are tied to team performance

He puts up 20 points on 18 shots. Any half way decent player in the league can do that.

He's growing just like 3rd year pippen, who started year 3 much worse than Ingram has these last 7 games

Ingram is naturally a better scorer, and you should be aware that ingram's skillset is cutting edge - i.e. he's in that new group of wings that are 6'10" but doing the same things as the 6'7' guys were doing 10 years ago...

Kuzma is in there too, so lebron is blessed with next-level supporting talent.... Now just imagine if lebron was a 35 ppg, off-ball assist target like mj, so he could develop Ingram and ball's game instead of destroying these former blockbuster draft picks....

Not quite the 55 win pace Pippen did without Jordan in '99 but close :oldlol:

Ingram is the focal point of the offense and should have higher numbers without 2 major players taking 18 shots/game as compared to Pippen's 14. and yet you also didn't post his defensive stats as compared to Pippen's.
Win shares, bpm, dbpm, steals, blocks etc etc.

Ingram is pretty good with the ball but has yet to develop and offball game, something that you crucified Lebron over and over for.
His great length and reach is not translating to steals, rebounds, blocks, look it up Scottie has higher defensive stats than him.

First before people begin trolling, can we stop comparing a 21 year old good player to a HOF and elite defender iN Scottie Pippen. This actually disrespects Scottie more than anything.
