Socialize outside of social media. Hang out with people in person.

When you are with people, tell them about the stuff that you think about. Ask them what the heck they're thinking about.

From what you have posted, it would seem that even when you are actually with people that you not really "there". You are very concerned about creating an image for yourself.....How about not giving a fck? Just be yourself and let the image be whatever it becomes.
