"Short Guys" that dared to Dunk in the Chamberlain Era (late 50's,60's, 70's)

"Here's a mix of all film from my collection of players under 6-6 dunking in the Wilt Chamberlain era (late 1950's to early 1970's). In the late 1950's players started to become inspired by Elgin Baylor and wanted to emulate his play above the rim. However, the big men of the Wilt Chamberlain era including Wilt himself did not like to see the little guys play above the rim in their space and enforced this with physicality. So dunks by short guys were rare until around the mid 1970's. But many could and did do it every once in a while as seen here. Of course many more players under 6'6 dunked than this but these clips are just what is lucky to exist on film."

^ That's not Oscar Robinson. He wore numbers 14 and 1. As far as I know Oscar never dunked.
