Sports hernia ultimately requires surgery and has the average person out about 2 months. It's more a timing thing. If an athlete has it, it's something they'd do by season end so they have enough time for regular season ramp up.

If Lebrons injury is real severe, Magic and Pelinka would shut him down indefinitely. Shannon Sharpe made the prediction he'd be out 6-8 weeks.

It would force Lebron to adjust his game because all that twisting and torque from being so explosive can be taxing.

They took the source most likely from a youtuber guy that said Lebron has a sports hernia. Honestly, hard to predict.

I think his MRI that's being re-evaluated this week will tell us if this story is legit or not. I feel like people have forgotten this season for the Lakers was not about championship. It was about evaluating talent and figuring out which veterans compliment young pieces.

Curry had 6 weeks to heal his groin. If it's a sports hernia, they would absolutely shut Lebron down the season to extend 2 more years out of him.
