Kobe making finals 9 times? He even needed rig from the refs when he had prime Shaq carrying him to make the finals.

Comparing a 37 year old 400 pound dude who could barely walk to a 25 year old athletic freak who could only be slowed down if 3 people literally jumped on top of him.

You lost this argument before it even started, baby boiii.

There is no way to imagine the Mamba going for that kind of record. Kobe's just too good and he wouldn't be himself, the winner we know, if he did otherwise.

Lebron's a known choker, underachiever, and short cutter, who got bailed twice, taken to 7 twice, swept twice, gentlemanly swept twice, owns the biggest differential point losses in Finals series history, to go along with the greatest superstar choke job ever in 2011. Not to mention being recipient of multiple league interference to get him over the hump (2012 ECF, 2016 Finals - that also required a bailout shot)....along with the fact that the nikka is an ignorant bitch with a big mouth, a passive aggressive clown, and a narcissistic loon, insecure as hell of the white man.

Ain't nobody wanna have that record - at least if you're gunning for Top 10 GOAT.

He is actually 2/7 which is worse. Please stay in school Mr. Math God :lol

Kobe = 2 Finals MVPS in 7 trips

LeBron = 3 Finals MVPs in 9 trips

3 > 2

Kobe lovers exposed again.

Kobe has 2 Finals MVPs so lets make sure LeBron isn't being dragged down into that top 12 all-time tier. LeBron has 3, only 1 player has more than him and it's not ChuckBe Bryant.

lets be honest. put lebrons teams in the west and kobes teams in the east and kobe makes the finals in

1999
2000
2001
2002
2003 ( no way horry shoots 0% in the finals to cost them again )
2009
2010
2011
2012 ( gasol shows up since he can rest more. ditto for kobes knee )
2013 ( wouldn't have torn his achilles from fighting to make the playoffs )
2014 ( kobe routinely owns sanantonio )
2015
2016 ( probly retires after this season anyway )

bold being the finals he wins

13 nba finals. the most ever

9 nba titles

6 finals mvps

There are at least 10 players in the history of the NBA that would have 3 or more titles with the teams lebron had.

Kobe is one of them.

All I know is that 3 FMVP > 2 FMVP

Lebron 3 rings at the ALPHA, Kobe only 2.

If we are to count individual accolades, accomplishments, finals performances and the GOAT 2016 comeback, Lebron leaves Kobe in the dust on the all time list.

Hell, Kobe may be one of the few "top 15" where the finals stats and level of play actually declined compared to regular season whereas Lebron has an extra gear in the finals that Kobe never had

AirTupac
01-09-2019, 10:49 AM
That extra gear worked vs JJ Barea and Jason Terry :oldlol:

Did it work for Kobe? You people forget he got swept by the same team the same season. Not to mention the Lakers were the defending NBA champions.

How about Wade? His only alpha ring was the result of the most blatant rig job in history on the NBA. 2 more beta rings. Not exactly great, right?

Shall I give a call to Plowking so he can give you the thread where you can see Wade was fouled every time the refs called it?

Show me one clip of the 2006 NBA finals where Wade was not fouled. Wade apologises to the Mavs for fouling him because they could not stop him.

And I never argued that Wade is a greater player than Kobe. He is not. But he damn sure would have been close if he was not riddled by nasty injuries his whole career.

DANG.

Game 1: Heat 19 fts. Loss.
Game 2: Heat 32 fts. Loss.
Game 3: Heat 34 fts. Won by 2.
Game 4: Heat 36 fts. Win.
Game 5: Heat 49 fts. Won by 1.
Game 6: Heat 37 fts. Won by 3.

The heat won the 4 games with the most FTA, they lost the other two.

But I guess Dallas decided to foul Wade a little more because their 2-0 lead was getting too boring.

BTW: We have similarities to the 2016 rigging: In 2006, Jerry Stackhouse was additionally suspended to even things out.
