If LeBrenda averaged a triple double for 1 season one can only imagine the hysteria from the media fanboys from such a feat... let alone 3.. at 6ft 2

Honestly, imagine instead of Westbrook it was Bran doing this. Jesus **** the media would be slobbing his dick 10x harder than they do now.

Absolutely disgusting how manufactured this fraud is.

Yup.. even if LeBron didn't win a single ring they'd claim it's a team accomplishment and counter "How many triple double seasons did MJ have".. end of argument.

You can totally see a guy like Max Kellerman trumpeting that narrative going with that Lupe Fiasco lyric/mantra "Did you improve on the design, did you do something new?"..

This only PROVES without a shadow of a doubt that we are in an era where stats are inflated. There is no way in HELL a 6'3" PG would be averaging 10+ rebounds in any era except the high paced 1960's and today. In any other era, there would be legit 4's and 5's boxing out and grabbing most of the boards.

Who would have thought Harden and Westbrook would be putting up multiple 50 and even 60 point triple doubles? That's Wilt-level and everyone takes it for granted now.

I know right. I heard they even made the Finals but ran into a brick wall. A king brick wall I heard

it is really a different era nowadays

back then Triple Doubles, 50 pt games were such a career achievement for any player. A Sportscenter headliner. I remember watching this ESPN(?)feature on youtube about players doing out of this world plays just to get a triple double

these stats are meaningless in this era of small ball and no defense. Westbrook is out here bricking everything yet he still somehow stumbles into a 21/11/10 average
