Banshee or Quarry

2 of the most underrated TV series that blew my mind

sad that it got overlooked during their airing because these two were so much better than any show back then

Banshee ended up going downhill and was a bit too over the top, I go with Quarry.

Quarry got canceled because people don't know wtf they are doing. It was an amazing first season.

Banshee was a great series. Quarry could have been better if it kept going.

Banshee really worked its over the top'edness. That's not usually my taste, but in some cases, like John Wick, when things take themselves with the right level of seriousness, it really works for me, and Banshee pulled it off. It actually got worse as it went along because they had spent so much time with the characters that they had to flesh them out more than they ever could sustain based on how much silliness they'd already layed on top of them.

Quarry I also watched and really liked, but it was a bit too slow, and a little too scattered for me. Trying to maintain the stuff with the black buddy's family, when the mob tie thing had kind of become the focus, sometimes made it feel like it was all over the place. But I really did like it.
