Masterful performance by the Dingo tonight. Got everyone involved and dominated the game without scoring, had a team high +36 on/off.

26% from the field
25% from the 3

Really dismantled the powerhouse Knicks, whilst getting clamped by all defense players such as Mudiay, Tier and Hardaway

Damage control?

Imagine being so stacked your 3rd option can drop 40+ at will meanwhile others have a guy that hasn't scored over 30 more than once in his career :oldlol:

CLIFFS NOTES

Warriors has a team where the
#3 option can drop 40 any time

Lakers has a team where the
#2 option has dropped 30 literally once in entire career (1/200+ games)

Must be nice Beta Curry

Saw part of the game; he was team-first as he usually is. He was wide open for a 3 but passed to Klay instead because Klay had the hot hand. You don't see that on a lot of teams; instead the top players are competitive with each other and on a bad shooting night would rather keep shooting in the hopes of getting their shot back, even if it means shooting the team out of the game (ie: OKC w/Durant and Westbrook). Curry has a pragmatic mentality of what it takes for the team to win and does that.

Durant has given up a multitude of shots to feed the hot hand. He works out with Looney and encourages him to shoot as well.

Not long before Steph drops down to 3rd option for GS.

A great player finds ways to help their teammates win when they're not shooting well. Kind of like how Kobe got those 15 boards in a deciding game 7 of the finals.

Great players can do those things consistently despite having an off night or not

That and locking down playoff Rondo down the stretch. I still remember watching that game very vividly. Was one of the best games I’ve ever seen. Kobe had an extremely gutsy performance in a flat out battle. Iconic NBA moment.

Imagine if a bad Westbrook night could lead to a +36 every night :yaohappy: just goes to show you how stacked the Warriors are around him.

Did the critics here see the game? Some of the passing early on in the game simply oozed superior next level basketball. Steph was flinging the ball around like an artist.

Durant also says, GSW who have made their all time great identity with player motion and ball movement, pass too much and they should give it to him and let him ISO more.

I wouldn't think of Durant when I think of a team first player

What's better? 1-1 or 2-0? I'll wait for your answer.
