One man.
One LeBron "LONG BOI" James...LBJ = LongBron James

Just imagine it, 5 all stars teamed up to beat LeBron and a 25 win pace lottery team. (3-7 w/o James).

One day yall gonna tell your grandkids about this and your grandkids wont even believe you. You'll have to tell them all about 3-1.

Literally there is not and there cannot be either. An effin 73-win team defending champs and first ever unanimous MVP?

well at the time it was 2 stars vs 3 since draymond was unfairly suspended

so they got 4 just in case lebron called silver again

then lebron ran off kyrie and left town to avoid him leading boston past his cavs and totally embarassing him.

then ultimately cousins inquired about joining lebron in LA and magic said no

so here we are

no but game 5 at home was basically what they worked for all season and without being able to compete for that game and basically hand it to cleveland meant that those 73 wins were meaningless since cleveland would obviously win game 6 at home and make it a 1 game winner take all

then anything can happen

the reason they make it a 7 game series is because flukes happen and they want the best team to win in the end. when you take away the series formula and just stretch to to a 1 game elimination anything can happen

and kyrie hit the biggest shot in finals history ( only comparable to ray allens bail out for lebron back in 2013 )

so the fluke did take place and the wrong team won due to a "called in favor" to adam silver

if scoring 40+ meant an automatic win on the road just because lebron scored 40+ and won at home.... then he would have given up chasing assists a long time ago

lebron scored 50 in the finals and lost. nothings guaranteed

what is nearly guaranteed is the warriors play better in game 5 and probably win the series if they had draymond

What open shots was LeBron given in the 4th quarter against the Warriors in Game 7? Ezeli played bad defense on one 3, iirc the rest were all well contested

just to show how little fg% matters

larry bird shot 50% for his career

his point per shot was 1.25

Kobe shot 45% for his career

his point per shot was 1.28

and 1.30 up until his achilles injury ( same as MJ )

field goal percentage is meaningless. its about production and as far as shooting guards go kobe is the most efficient one of all time ( aside from maybe james harden if you count him as a shooting guard and don't discredit him for todays rules )

+1 Kobe is a horrible inefficient player. His BEST season ever, he shot .469% FG...His BEST. Not worst. BEST. Aside from LeBron's rookie year he has shot above .469 every. single. year.

The craziest part is LeBron James literally lead every single player in every single category. No one can (intelligently) say anything bad because LeBron James literally did everything more than everyone. Points. Rebounds. Assists. Blocks. Steals.

And yet, here we are with haters attempting to spew complete bullshit when they should be humble and say. "It was an amazing series win. LeBron is a legend." But, their love for Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant is so strong that they simply cannot recite unbiased facts such as the aforementioned suggestions. Hating on LeBron for his 2016 Finals in any way, shape, or form should be considered a true mental illness.

And the game winning block, too? Are you guys kidding me...

That was the narrative at the time. Irving got no credit for Game 6 and the way he closed it out with like 10 straight points in the 4th to put the game away. His game-winner was less appreciated than Lebron's block.

Down 1 - 3, Irving averaged 30 ppg on 52/53/100 shooting with 1.7 stls 1.3 blks, but the whole narrative was that Lebron brought them back and beat a 73-win team, not that his entire team played their ass off in key moments to clutch out those wins.
