It is incredible how much people underrate Steph Curry. The dude was regularly getting 40 in 3 quarters and blowing out teams by himself in 30 mins of play <3 quarters.

And that lineup is nothing to write home about. Good, but not all time great.

Obligatory: **** KD for robbing us of seeing Curry's true peak and prime play as the sole best on the team.

Harden has been incredible in the regular season the past few years

He was unreal in the regular season. It's a shame he couldn't replicate it in the playoffs. The ultimate slap in the face to the voters that voted him unanimous MVP.

That's true, and Curry was incredible with the most efficient high scoring season ever.

But let's not act like Klay Thompson averaging 22 a game and hitting the most threes ever outside of Curry in a season, and Draymond leading the team in assists from the stretch 4 didn't have something to do with it also, as if they weren't all-stars.

Also Bogut was a very effective screen setter.

Disposing of the Thunder after coming off an injury? Winning the next two championships? Setting the playoffs record for wins? The voters should be slapped for thinking anyone else deserved the awards.

If Curry isn't top 5 by the end of this run, Klay and Draymond will end up as surefire hall-of-famers

Top 5 all-time? It's really crowded up there: MJ, Lebron and Kareem for sure.

Russell, Wilt, Magic, Duncan, Shaq and Bird all have a case. Some would put Kobe up there with them. Also, Durant has had quite a career and is on Steph's team.

We'll see. Curry needs to be considered a Magic Johnson level impact player on offense for his entire career to be top 5.

Do you seriously question if Curry is a Magic Johnson level impact player on offense?

The Warriors will need to suffer a serious stumble this year and going forward for the current trajectory to be reversed.

Curry is the Warriors system. That's why, as long as he is elite, the Warriors are elite. They wouldn't miss much of a beat if Durant just left. He is a mere + version of Harrison Barnes on this team. However, you can't just shove aside dudes in that starting line-up, lol. Klay is the one guy who has a case over Curry when it comes to having the hottest hand of all time, and he might be the best catch and shoot shooter of all time too. Raymond, in 2016, is one of the best Swiss army knives the league has ever seen. Not to mention that one of the Warriors strengths was always their depth.

What's so crazy about it.

First of all, he had likely the best offensive season in NBA history. I thought this was established.

And even without Stephen, that's still a good offensive team. We saw it in the playoffs when he was out with injury.

Remember, Draymond in 2016 was way better than he is now. He was one of the best players in the league.

You also have to consider the bench. Iggy, Livingston, and Barbosa was a great offensive trio off the bench.

They didn't really need to do a lot in a plenty of games but they certainly were capable whenever Curry/Klay/Dray did happen to struggle.

If Durant bounces no way In hell warriors win a chip again. Steph's not as good in the post season, Especially the finals. Remember he only has one chip without kd and it was a serious asterisk.
